  1. I've had a Tungsten ring for about two years now and I like it. I don't have any scratches or wear issues with it and it fits perfectly to my finger without being too tight. The reason I got it was because I wanted something heavier than your typical gold plus be tough enough as I'm hard on everything I own. Plus it's got the cool carbon fiber weave in it.
  2. I think it would be interesting to just walk around there for a little bit and check it out. I bet it's pretty eerie.
  3. No traction control for me. Not looking forward to it in my next car. I do appreciate it in the trucks and Mustangs. Makes it must easier get moving and control them when our parking lot is a skating rink.
  4. We parked at the lot 1/2 block down on Gay. I believe the Vault provides either valet parking or a parking token. Don't remember.
  5. One of my finance managers hosts it at his house. He goes all out with food and drinks, plus he's got a nice house with Foosball and ping pong tables. If someone is opening their house and preparing food for everyone, I'll be there.
  6. My friend got married earlier this year at The Vault downtown. Neat little place off E. Gay Street. VaultBanquets.com
  7. 1992 Mazda Miata. A+. Steering was so precise you could turn the car just by thinking. 2005 Mazda3. B+. Very responsive and good amount of feedback. 2009 Mitsubishi Evo X. A-. Razor sharp for AWD and made the car very easy to chuck around. 2009 Subaru WRX. B-. Good but not as precise as the Evo. A little bit more relaxed but it still gave me a good bit of road info. Those are some of the most recent I have driven. I can give you feedback on every car I tested when I was doing my writing
  8. I'm looking to get my mom and my brother each a gun safe for Christmas. I don't need anything huge as it will be for two handguns each plus room for clips/ammo. I'm looking for something with a keypad or even one with a fingerprint scanner. It needs to fit in a normal size bedside table (hence it doesn't need to be huge). Something like this (http://www.cabelas.com/product/Stack-On174-Biometric-Personal-Safes/1217833.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch%2F%3FN%3D5100210%26Ne%3D5100210%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dsafe%26Ntx%3Dmode%252Bmatchallpartial%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts%26WTz_st%3DSearchRefinements%26form_state%3DsearchForm%26search%3Dsafe%26searchTypeByFilter%3DAllProducts%26x%3D0%26y%3D0&Ntt=safe&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products) for example. I'm not familiar with safe companies so give me some advice. I'd like to stay under $200 if possible.
  9. I've got the DWS' on my 3. They're softer than I would like in the sidewall, but they have plenty of traction in the dry and are excellent in the wet/cold. They're an excellent tire for the price if you don't need anything extreme, and there's an $80 rebate on them if you buy a set of four.
  10. There was Ed (don't remember his last name) who was there for a while before he got the boot. Then it was some red-headed guy from Ricart who decided to coach softball and mow then work at a dealership anymore. After him came a guy I work with briefly at MAG and they said "Bye" to him last month. LOL at the Amanda comment.
  11. You didn't get the Mayan calendar reference? Someone gets it.
  12. I'll take the red one please.
  13. That's because Columbus drivers + snow = 12/21/2012
  14. Not sure. Never really go back there unless it's to talk to the advisors. We only have three full-time guys and two hourly. We have a new manager who's trying to fix a lot of crap from the previous guy. That's why we are so down on techs. Those guys are always back there past five almost everyday, plus we have several used cars that have just been sitting waiting for safety inspections. Sam's back there, and Duff is back with sales. The guy that replaced him (Mark) is a really good guy.
  15. http://imgs.isidewith.com/results-image/185360296.jpg Surprising amount of Libertarians popping up.
  16. Don't forget the ice storm we had last year.
  17. Byers Ford in Delaware. About the certification thing, I am not sure. I can find out for you if you're interested.
  18. We're desperate for techs where I am if you want to make the drive and can work on Fords.
  19. Great thread. My brother and I got to try out the M&P Shield in 9mm last week at Blackwing and it was a great little shooter. My brother's got to order his as he can't find it anywhere.
  20. I wait until Thanksgiving to switch mine over. I'm not too worried.
