requires salt, usually a powerhead and aren't saltwater fish more picky over their PH and ammonia ranges - etc? i can get some freshwater chiclids that are nearly impossible to kill for 10 times cheaper i plan on moving the tank pretty often and can't deal with moving a full tank all the time i'd be in trouble trying to remove and replace the saltwater necessary to keep those fish in good health while i can throw freshwater fish in a trash can with reasonable results
-
yea saltwater requires too much time and a simple tank, maybe breed a few discus (no gravel, no decorations) a 20 - 30 gallon with a magnum or magnum hot filter...preferably keep it simple...so it's easy to clean
-
i know, i've already posted there
-
what kind of filter and air pump on the 20? first dibs =]
-
Looking for a nice fish take 15 - 25 - 30 gallon range with all accessories....nice filter and all PM with possibilities wanting to get back into owning a discus fish or two
-
what does the 20 gallon come with? i'm thinking about getting another tank what kinda filter?

see if he's interested in a little work i'd like to watch, maybe learn something in the process i don't think it really needs a full rebuild, just tuned up and an upgrade on jets -

probably good advice and could be kinda fun -
yea, 500's too much i know a guy that sells 'em for 650 and are 'fresh' what fresh means, i dunno i think he rebuilds them but doesn't use new gears...just all the other cheaper parts i was wanting a cheapie like the $175 one

Looking for an old muncie 4-speed, 60's model or early 70's also want a hurst competition plus original shifter, handle and linkage if anyone has that too not wanting rebuilt/new/expensive - rather an old driver or something that i'll rebuild or have rebuilt
-
if it has a computer, i'd rather take a bat to it than work on it

cliff's is great from what i hear but they also take 3 months to get around to your carb - which i think's crazy guess there's too much demand for him and not going to EFI - it's a #'s matching 4-speed 400 GTO and all would like to keep the original quadrajet looking carb going... it's already a new/rebuilt carb that runs fine - just not aggressive enough is a stock 350 buick quadrajet (was cheap and 'new' and figure i'd upgrade later) on a ram air III 400 pontiac with ram air induction so don't really need a rebuild - maybe just a jet swapping to step up a little and more importantly, probably, is that i need someone who knows what they're doing in regards to tuning -
Anyone getting rid of some stuff for winter? Or know anyone wanting some garage space? Prefer late 60's project car, looking for something to stuff a big motor in and play with - something rough and ugly but halfway desirable love a GTO or other interesting car maybe a big-car 4-speed? (i like 4-speeds) otherwise, would like interesting pontiac parts, big engines (455, 428) in old bonnevilles or whatever - e-mail or PM smarsh7@cinci.rr.com got some stuff to trade, pontiac stuff

My only car and semi-daily driver. (can go a few days without driving it, if need be) Anyone know a shop near columbus that could rebuild my quadrajet? It needs a good tuning and some jets swapped out - wouldn't hurt if someone could do some tweeking - i hear it's a bit of an art to making these run really good Can drive the car there - would hope the person could rebuild it while i wait or run to dinner across the street or something it runs good now, just happens to be a bit of a dog....needs to be a little more responsive another option would be me taking it off and shipping it to someone, but then i'd be stuck if they didn't get it shipped back for a few weeks

rolla seems like a very reasonable fellow good prices, and i trust 'em he'll be getting my work - thanks for the rec! i'll let ya'll know how the work turns out

"Saying I called them whiners" where do i say that? telling a lawyer that he can't read is quite entertaining Haven't been on this site much, but it gives me a headache to read...seems like the smallest comment is attacked such that the original post is quickly obscured Does noone here have anything better to do than pick on the other members? I was merely agreeing with you as the general trend had been that the members here thought of them as whiners, and thought that your post was prudent. hence...me agreeing with your sentiments as to what their motives were maybe i should have said "i think..." so that you wouldn't have read an implied knock on you in the future, i'll try to be more clear

not worth the energy

eh, depends making a 'good faith effort' isn't always enough There's several statutes in ohio that you would technically be violating with your muffler. Technically, the modification in any way of a stock muffler to make the car louder is a minor misdemeanor which is punishable by a fine (however, i doubt they'd be mean enough to file an action against you) but if push came to shove...you'd have to oblige them and no, trouble maker...i wasn't calling you immature however, i would have the right to not be woken up by a slightly modified car at 7 am....
-
calling them whiners is a bit premature i'd complain too, if i was woken up daily at 7
-
don't know the details of your joint...but... if there's another car in your driveway, park on the other side of it put that car between yours and the problem house - help reflect some of the noise
-
i'm pretty decent myself, and i've got the car pretty close but there's something about the skill you learn over doing it a lot...that i won't soon be able to reproduce the last one i 'finished' ended up being rougher than i'd have liked.... throw paint on 'er and every little imperfection shows through
-
Looking to get my 'ole GTO in form for painting quarters on 'er already....just need the finish work i've block sanded a few times myself, but i'm sure someone with some skill could make it quite a bit nicer could also use front floor pans and a trunk put in, i already have 'em - just need welded in Looking for someone that does it themselves, so i don't have to pay overhead on a big shop or something.... Anyone do it for a business out of their house or? Know of a particularly reasonable place? it's hard to find a joint that doesn't just do insurance jobs anymore
