cheap? hood included? i've got quite a few people wanting the hood, if i'm parting it out i've got a few people wanting the 350 depending on whether we can figure out if it's a 4-bolt or 2-bolt main - i'll update when i know more i can't sell the shell without first selling the 350, so people can hear the motor run
-
should cost you $40 to have the Y-pipe installed (per side) Y pipe is 30 or 40 the cutout per side is around $150 (depends on size and brand) DMH is good quality, but there are cheaper DMH offers the best warranty out there, and he doesn't ask how you broke it, if you did <---personal experience when i hit a tree stump

hell no 4:56, 3 series posi carrier, 1968 chevelle 12 bolt with ladder bars will soon be under my '66 GTO it's setup so that, as you sit in the driver's seat, you look down at the road nothing quite like the feeling of the rear quarters being a few inches above the tires
-
agreed i'm tired of hearing about them, just cuz they're ND last week was pitiful
-
I've got the motor listed in the parts for sale section i bought the car for the 12 bolt rear end to go in my GTO i'll sell the car + motor for 800 - just want rid of it car drives well - runs well supposedly a 4 bolt main 350 - rebuilt 750 double pumper, headers, 350 auto trans - setup is there for a 4 spd though brand NEW floor pans - front and back - beautiful body's mostly complete - split black bench seat, headrests - etc etc setup for a big block chevy - lots of work doned very importantly, it has a 1966 buick grand sport hood on it! (worth an easy $300) part the car out - make $ or throw it together for a fun strip car
-
no issue with cops...with the electric one (as long as you don't turn it on downtown) but if it's a newer car that has to go through emissions checks, safety checks or something - i believe they're technically illegal for street use
-
must be a different one around dayton, they're called rainbow lakes too it's a chain, and not a private one you wouldn't believe the fishing in them, though they buy 40 pounders like mad.....they're laying around dead everywhere
-
i just spent over a month there and hated every day it's a horrible, horrible place a local i met there that became a good friend said it best, "you're from the states man. everything there is twice as big, half as cheap and twice as fun as anything here - you're going to be disappointed no matter what you do" there's plenty of drinking in england - but that's about it PM me if you want some details i went to stonehenge (horrible waste of time - they have a fence around it so you can't even walk up to it) etc You'll miss cars with v8's in a hurry (or anything more than a lawnmower mower in them)
-
rainbow lake is pitiful I can't express how much rainbow lake pisses me off they stock it chock full of catfish at ridiculous rates - so much that the things die at a ridiculous rate (no food for them) it makes for good fishing, but it's sickening if that is called fishing....shooting fish out of a barrel should be on ESPN tons of complaints - environmentalists about that place - they've been trying to shut it down for years
-
i've used one for years - but mainly for noise and playing around i tend to put the biggest, quietest mufflers i can on my car...and then use the cutouts when i want it loud (best of both worlds - V8's are no fun when they're rattling your brain apart on a 2 hour highway drive) many friends have done dyno tests and more often than not, the cutout actually hurt peak HP sometimes, the resistance and backpressure help your engine so much that it helps performance buy them from DMH if you're going to get them - he has superior service (replacement) and is a great guy to boot but don't buy them for HP gains - you'll be disappointed (my last car lost HP with it in use)
-
it's actually pretty nice new floor pans - completely new and beautiful call me 937-269-7735 great deal for a buick man
-
casting # of 3870010, if i remember correctly i half-assed looked it up and it saidd it was built a number of years, with both 2 bolt and 4 bolt mains
-
by what i was told he was truthful about everything he told me, so far (car has a 12 bolt 1968 chevelle posi, 4:56 gears) so, with that valuable of a rear end, i imagine the engine isn't trash i'll take a look later and see if the spot isn't covered by oil
-
nope could be a '69 camaro engine for all i know, or a '77 truck engine you're welcome to come ond own and try to ID it
-
I don't know anything about chevy's - value, etc so, take this for what it's worth - motor came in a project car i wanted, but don't want motor. I'm a pontiac man (the whole car is available - may post that later) all i know is what the guy told me: "motor is a rebuilt chevy 350 4 bolt main with a mild cam" has a 750 DP holley, aluminum intake - headers...and seems to run good no smoke, no noise (header leak), no issues the carb is a bit much and flooding the engine when you flog it - you'd need to trade down to something a little more reasonable anyways, you can hear it run - will give it to ya as complete as you want it - including 350 trans anyone interested at $600? it's in a '66 buick, x-race car if you wanted a cheapo racecar - could get the rest of it pretty cheap i squeeled tires in it the day i bought it and set my roommate's car alarm off with the loud exhaust
-
3.8 is way too heavy? what's an extra 100 or 200 pounds....when you're talking about an extra 100 HP over others at a cost of $1000 less you could get one cheap, and there's a very decent aftermarket for them very reliable i'd rather have one of those that i could abuse and replace for $200 than some exotic crotch rocket motor that i had a fortune in seems like that would be the way i'd go...and maybe just make the go-cart a bit bigger than originally intended

an error such as that will be ignored in court, i'd think usually called a "scrivenor's error" unless the cop doesn't show up...then you might have a chance
-
in england for a week then dayton until late august then back in columbus (mindless bumps for the pontiac parts, either way)
-
i'm sure you'll have it in your hands at some point - gonna start on making it look pretty, next edelbrock 72 cc heads, flowing 270 - 280 tremec 5 spd transmission (overdrive, for the highway)
-
after looking at your website - looks like you're a pontiac man http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7904/motorru9.jpg just breaking in my new motor might be selling one of my '66 gto convertibles sometime soon if you know anyone hunting
-
any other pontiac stuff? i wouldn't mind those, but they won't fit manual cars
-
