Well after nearly a two year wait...and nearly one year since my deposit. There was one spec at my dealer for 242k...

GT4 is super low and its front lip rubs nearly everywhere...but as I'm sure you know, it's a blast to drive. Is your wife set on the pdk? Personally, if I was looking at a 997 tts it would be a manual. Especially with the way Porsche prices are trending. How about the new 991.2 c2/c4 (s)? I drove the new 991.2 c2 s and it was quite impressive. Easily, putting my 991.1 c2 to shame in acceleration.

Just saw this car at the auto show. Are all cars spoken for, if not are they going for msrp?

I asked my sales associate months ago about getting one...he had a good chuckle. Considering there are only 991 being built, with 918 allocated to the rich guys...that leaves 73 for the rest of us to fight over. I hope the 991.2 GT3 will get a power bump to the 4.0 and a manual transmission.

Get multiple opinions. Ask about his/her outcomes, expectations, and how many of this particular procedure they perform a year. Don't pick the guy that does 20 with 1 bad outcome. Pick the guy that does 250with 4 bad outcomes.

This one is optioned up. 211msrp I think. Ha no rides until all the crap is off the ground and it's a bit warmer. The Cup tires can crack in the cold weather.

He's purchased about 7 or so cars in the last 3-4 years from this dealer so he was able to get on the list relatively easy and he paid MSRP. We've talked about him flipping it, but really likes the car. He told me that if someone comes up to him and offers him 150k over he would take it, but he won't actively list the car. He will definitely drive the car.

Get a TDI Touareg. Shit is on sale due to dieselgate. +400lb/ft of tq with 30+ mpg. And if VW adjusts the tune on the 3.0 TDI for to make you compliant- just go grab the APR tune for $600 and go up to 480 tq.

Looks like a fun project. We just finished insulatin/dry wall and did an epoxy floor coating. Definitely worth it!
