  1. Well I'm not sure street racing like izzy is the way to go.
  2. Ha yes of course I got the light weight buckets. Just a brain fart when posting.
  3. Placed the order today. Agate grey, black wheels, black accents. PCCB Leather/yellow stitching. Carbon package. Sport chrono Navi Carbon seats No idea on a delivery date yet. Hopefully by the end of summer/ early fall. A guy I work with ordered the new GT3 RS.. Gt silver - a few options and it was over 200 easy.
  4. Id expect this car to be astonishing underrated to keep the 911 fanboys happy. The head of porsche GT cars Andreas Feininger said it would make at least 385 at 10,000 feet on a 40 degree Celsius day (paraphrasing of course). Check out the interview. His claim of the 7:40 ring time is quite bold with only a 385 crank hp car.
  5. Agreed. This car may due surprisingly well with sales. I'd imagine quite a few folks looking at the 997 gt3 will definitely look at this car. Consider the bargain in performance. The GT4 is confirmed 7:40 or below around the ring. Some much pricier competition. It's a helluva bargain- with a warranty. Ferrari 458 7:38 Ferrari F430 scuderia 7:39 Porsche 997 GT3 7:40 Mercedes sls AMG 7:40 Ford GT 7:41
  6. I signed on to get one here in Denver late last summer. My dealer told me 3.8 TT was a likely engine at the time as he heard that was one engine being tested. He called yesterday to tell me the news of the 3.8S and I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed. But after watching the Evo TV bit I am still quite excited for the car. As of today I'm still no. 1 but I do have the option to bail if the car is "not what I was expecting". Kudos to Porsche and my dealer for that.
  7. I've got one in my home... Been running strong for nearly 4 years now.
  8. Ha I hear ya! I love me some RWD. i think this car would appeal to a bit more of the market if it had AWD... Even as an option. And shit...I want a blown v8 car to shred the mountains with - that won't happen in rwd. The RS7 is about the only option in that power/price range. And merry Christmas :gabe:
  9. Agreed. I would be all over this if it had AWD.
  10. This was big news here when it happened. Lots of talk about the cock.
  11. That's crazy. Damn crazy.
  12. I started a small biomedical sales/service company.
  13. Really can't see that happening. The base 911 is much more roomier than the cayman...and people will always buy a 911 purely because it's a 911. For example- a surgeon I work with wanted a porsche for the name/style/look and he just picked up a 4s purely on aesthetics. He had no interest in the cayman because it wasn't a 911 and the idea of a turbo/s/gt3 frightened him. Not to mention it's been confirmed porsche makes about 23k for every 911 sold. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/03/14/vw-earns-23k-per-porsche-sold/
  14. http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/new-kid-block-porsche-cayman-gt4-revealed-gt3-rivaling-450-horsepower/#!bIomJG Stopped into the local Porsche dealer with a friend that's number 1 on their list for the new GT3 RS. We got to talking and the manager kept raving about the GT4 and it's potential performance for the money. Porsche GT3 tranny mated to 3.8L twin turbo 450hp. Of course PCCB is an option along with oodles of carbon fiber goodies all for around 120ish. This wasn't from a salesmen, but the manager of the dealership that spends lots of time over in Germany. So now I'm number one on their list for the Cayman GT4. :gabe: Now I wait. Edit: forgot to mention he said it will be wide bodied. Similar in change from base 911 s(not 4s) to the 911 turbo s.
  15. Still prefer the 6.3 out of the gullwing that this new car is replacing.
  16. I just shipped my Daytona across the country. http://Www.uship.com Great site for quotes and loads of options from covered transport to rush delivery.
  17. For me personally living in Denver I see it...and have experienced it. Sure I smoked and vaped plenty of times way before I moved here but things are wayyy different. After having highly concentrated edibles (too many) you understand that it's engineered that way for a reason. It's a different all body feeling that doesn't give me the feeling like I'm high. No one in their right mind would drink a soda with 40 nanograms of the stuff unless you didn't know the serving recommendation or you wanted to zone out for the next 8-12 hours...like I'd imagine a terminally ill/painful cancer patient would yearn for.
  18. Sad to see! I still remember you detailing my old wrx to a like new shine. One of the best for sure.
  19. Interesting....I've been starting to look into the F430 scuderia...and of course the lambo SL is quite similar. Any track time with the car?

    Night shot

Had a buddy take this night shot after the storms came through. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad321/r00tts/Rooftop_zpse131faaa.jpg No filters. Beautiful color to the sky.
  21. Where did you find that car?

    65 Daytona

Oh wow! That would been quite the steal! Hard to believe that at some point they were only looked upon as essentially junk race cars in the grand scheme of things. I've been up to Boulder, Colorado to visit the shelby museuem and they had a couple originals on hand. It's amazing to see the differences in each as they essentially tweaked the car with nearly every version. The car is fun and runs better than it looks. It's a blast white knuckle type time for sure.
