I have the day off so showing up early isn't a problem, question is how early?? Pat, yes I have a Mustang!! Pics should be up tomorrow hopefully, I just havn't posted about it because I didn't have pics and I'd rather just avoid the harassment on here.

I saw this is on NTR's schedule, is this basically an open to the public event?? Anyone else going?? It's time to see what the Stang can do though it's been ages since I've been down the strip so I have my doubts about a decent launch.

Registration closes at 6pm today!!

Normal start times, Registration(check-in) and tech open at 7am to 8:45am and the drivers meeting at 9am with first car off at 9:30am. Sure we could start later but then people would bitch about not getting enough runs in.....gotta give somewhere!

What's sad is there seems to be virtually no solid data to say what's best. My dads truck is saying around 10k miles, at least checking the oil for color and consistency seems to say it's doing fine. That's how I checked my oil in my Pathfinder and went 7k miles between changes.

Lunch is provided for everyone, Dans Deli will be on-site with burgers, hot dogs, and all the trimmings and he has damn good food. Andy, good thing this year is there will only be 2 students to 1 instructor so you will get plenty of time with an instructor and should be a large number of laps. Last year we only had 8 runs but that's with a 1+ hour thunderstorm in the middle of the day. If people are willing we may extend the afternoon run sessions to allow for some free-for-all runs(but no promises as I'm not in charge of anything). Weather report continues to be perfect for the weekend as I watch it while I type this!!

UPDATE!! The registration site is in the middle of an update, it may not let you sign up even though the school is not full(it's showing the instructors in the entry list). I believe you can sign up as an alternate with around 15 spots remaining as of last night, if you sign up in time you WILL be able to attend the school. The weather report looks fucking fantastic for this weekend so bring the sunblock and sunglasses!!!

This is the best time for a first timer!! Definitely come to this school as there's no better way to get started in this sport. Adam, you're screwed!!:bangbang: Still looks like near 20 spots still open, sign up now before the last minute rush and the class fills, registration closes Thursday!!

A fucking fuse was the root of all my problems with the car, 11 ecu codes were caused by this thing and made it look like I had all kinds of problems and would of had me chasing gremlins that didn't exist for a long time likely. Rob had it figured out in no time, thanx!!! Ben

Simply amazing!! It doesn't surprise me we havn't(to my knowledge) run into another civilization as small as we are in this universe.

I'd be interested if I could get the signoff as well to run some open lapping though like you mention Rob it's still pricey compared to NASA. On a side note, anyone going to Putnam Park next month?? My buddy and I are signing up to work it with a friend coming from Chicago to race that event. Maybe bunk up to keep it cheap??
