  1. For sale is my Clarion DXZ765MP CD player: http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2006/audio/source_units/cd/DXZ765MP/us-en-product-pf_1134643389116.html This is a great radio that has a lot of functions, it plays just about anything. I still have the original remote and owners manual with it. $100, pm me or reply here if interested.
  2. Heh, your not considered good until you can drift and take out 6 cones at 1 corner!! AJ can attest to my skill at killing cones, better yet I have proof: http://richard.safier.com/OVR/May%2027%20PE3/target104.html ^That takes pure skill!! Everyone starts somewhere, no better way to learn so just come out and have fun!!
  3. These events are open to anyone. The CR event is still in the planning stages, hoping for a mid-summer date I believe.
  4. They retail at $126 each, I figure this is a more than fair price for a very competent tire.
  5. I have a set of Falken Azenis RT-615 tires, size 215/45/16. Only used for 1 weekend at Mid-Ohio. 80-90% tread left. No pics available. tires are in great shape. $250 for all 4. Pickup in Columbus or I may meet you halfway if it's not too far. PM or reply here if interested.
  6. $150 OBO, need it gone.
  7. ^Cool, thanks for the help. Next car WILL be a 5 speed and easier to work on for sure.
  8. Most of the catalog systems look up by catalog or part number, asking for a random part from a chevy 350 gets you nowhere unless it's a very knowledgeable person. They sell parts and aren't expert mechanics in 30 year old cars. Funny story though.
  9. So it should be just inside the pan? I don't know the first thing about automatics and still hate them, damn Nissan for not making more of these in a 5 speed as those were bullet proof!!
  10. I was thinking about this thread also, forgot how long it's been since I've updated. 255lbs as of today!! I've judt transitioned into lower reps higher weight finally, I can feel the difference already as before I just worked on the very basics of building up more core and using muscles I hadn't really used in years.
  11. That's fine with me, I have a feeling to clear the red tape the event it's self will have to be officially held by some organization like the BMC or SCCA for insurance and sanctioning reasons. Basically they must have some of their people present to run the event is how it will likely go which is fine as you need some people there who know how to run the timing equipment and familiar with safety.
  12. I talked to a guy yesterday that works on trannies for a living and when I told him what I drive he scoffed, usually not a good sign!! There should be at least the valve body or something accessible from inside the pan right?? I'm told the selonoid is on the top of the transmission and again not accessible without pulling the trans.
  13. Knowing my luck it will need rebuilt. I'm going to try pulling the pan and see if anything there can be replaced, pulling the tranny is a total bitch and I'll probably sell it for whatever I can get so I don't have the headache.
  14. Very suddenly yesterday my tranny started slipping in my Pathfinder. The 2-3 shift seems to be slipping and happening too soon as well as the 3-4 shift. The shifting is oddly smooth and the tach jumps up and down as it slips and the tranny seems unwilling to downshift when I need to merge on the freeway or pass. A friend said there could be a valve body or shift selonoid causing this?? I think it's too sudden for the bands or whatever they're called to be going out though I don't know shit about automatics. Any ideas would be appreciated, Ben.
  15. Odd question, why the hell is youtube not working for me? every video says it's not available.....wtf?? I like mininova, easy to use but can't always find everything.
  16. Video no longer available = Gay!!
  17. I should hear something by wednesday or thursday and get it to Brian and we'll go from there.
  18. What about a site for torrents? I used to use mininova and it worked well, any others?
  19. For sale is my Dell Inspiron 5100 Laptop.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,997075,00.asp It has a Pentium 4 2.66ghz processor, 256mg ram, 40gb hdd, cd burner w/dvd player. Windows XP Pro operating system. It is being wiped and restored as I type this and will come with the carry case, restore discs, and manual. Also I have a Linksys wireless g card for it that will be included. It has been a reliable computer for me. It's only issues has been overheating, the fan is easily blocked when it's on your lap. This has improved since I've had it cleaned the other day. The other issue is battery life, it'd down to probably 30 mins as the battery is the original and the computer is 6-7 years old so it works best at home as more of a desktop. Also a very small line of bad pixels on the monitor, after a couple days I never noticed it anymore. Overall a very reliable computer for me. $150, Firm. PM if interested. The only pic available is on that link.
  20. No better way to learn than by doing it!!
  21. Too many utorrent suggestions to ignore, I'll give that a try, thanks!!
  22. What's a decent torrent downloader thats free these days?? I found a few things I'd like to get and I can't seem to get Bittorrent transferred over from the old computer so I need a new one.
  23. Everyone has to pick up cones, we'd have to split the number of people into 2 groups and swith back and forth, another advantage is people and cars get some cool down. Obviously if the event were held by the SCCA a handful of people would be required from them to help run the equipment and some experienced people for safety and help work the course, all the volunteers will want it some seat time for their services which is a good tradeoff.
  24. Brian, maybe a poll is in order?? Who would do this for sure.
  25. ^End of the month for the current sale. I've been curious about the Castrol, I might have to give a try on the next car and see how it does.
