Thing with Troy is, all the players in Alabama that didn't make it into the 2 other major schools down there end up at Troy so they are a pretty decent team. The same thing happens in Florida hence why USF has gotten so good so quick.

We're around, just worrying about Troy this weekend considering they put up over 700 yards of offense last week!!!

OSU has a great team for the most part, but when you have a mediocre QB and you take away the star running back which frees up USC to attack said QB, you have little chance. Add to the fact that Tressel went right back into the 100 year old playbook after the first couple series we had no chance. Ironically coach Tressel, who "was" know for preparing well for these big games has done a poor job of it the past couple years, both physically, mentally, and strategically. The whole week before the game was very un-Tressel like and obviously a disaster in my opinion. Either way I am still a Buckeye, and will continue to root for them. The funny thing is, like the thread starter people have become the bad sports that they claim most Buckeye fans to be!!

I saw lots of trees split in 2, a yard covered in walnuts from being shaken loose, siding and roofs ripped off in Pickerington. Lots of people just out in their yards cleaning up the mess. My roommate is an EMT and yesterday responded to a elderly woman who had a large tree limb fall on her in her back yard and break her leg, he said the bones were sticking out through the skin!!

It certainly felt like a Cooper coached game. The whole week before the game was a disaster imo, that's not like Tressel and it was a big mistake on his part. Then in the game he started off showing some creativity keeping USC's defense on their toes, then he got right back into the same routine and play calling OSU has been using for 100 years. Tressel is going to become another Cooper at this rate, recruiting all the big talent and squandering it. I remain unimpressed with Boeckman and still question the choice in him as qb. Recruiting big, fat, and slow linemen up front that have for 3 years now have proven it doesn't work in the big games against the good schools. Though he showed some creativity yesterday it was too little and then too late.

Almost forgot, I was rooting for UM today. The Big Ten gets enough flack as it is so as long as it's a Big Ten team playing out of conference I will root for the Big Ten.

We have the talent, we just need Tressel to open up his mind(which he did for a short time early on) and we'll win another title.

Not too much of a surprise considering all the condos that have been built around town in the last 10 years!!

Seeing as how Tressel makes the offensive calls I think we definitely held back on offense this past saturday, we normally throw deep down the field twice as much as we did and I think the receivers knew it, hence why the running game was weak as there was no deep ball threat from us and OU played accordingly. I think Beanie will start and likely be 100% saturday and the deep ball will be back(wether we catch them or not is another story) and we have the ability to pressure when we want, should be a good game.
