HPDE isn't timed either, they emphasize not worrying about times actually and is ideal for learning to drive on the big tracks. I talked with an instructor and they start out very basic and you move at your own pace which is nice.
I'm looking forward to this weekend since it's been almost 2 months since I've really driven anything.
What's going on with top gear, my old roommate has been recording these, they are labeled as "new" episodes, and they are old stuff?? I thought someone posted up the new season was running currently??
Mike hasn't been around this season so far, I miss having him around.
I'm a novice instructor, let me know when you plan to make an autocross and I can help out and there are several others on here that can help as well. It's a lot of fun and much easier on your car than drag racing.
Our next event is 1 week away at the OSU Ackerman lot. I should be in attendance and hopefully driving if I can find a ride in time. It's been since June since I've run and need to shake the cobwebs off before Mid-Ohio.
Hope to see some familiar faces there!!
I do plenty of racing, and there have been quite a few people come to the local autocrosses. I'll be at Mid-Ohio the 15-17th, your welcome to come up and play, or next weekend at the autocross.
The Brembo OEM rotors are very nice, I had a set before and never had any issues with them. They're simple stock type rotors made with much better materials and better venting in them. Also I've never had one bit of trouble with Powerslot rotors.
I just figured I'd start some shit!! Adam really needs to get that car out and run it and see what it can do. I look forward to just hanging out, havn't seen anyone this year.
For Rallycross you need nothing for the car except for maybe tires, otherwise leave it stock as it needs nothing else. Just show up and have fun at rallycross.
