+1, I was 18city, 25hwy before, and about 15, and 21 after.

The off-road agricultural diesel is illegal to run on public roads because it isn't taxed. It's no different than what you can buy at the pump other than the red dye in it. You might be able to find some 500ppm LSD that's still around in the off-road tanks, but soon enough you'll only find ULSD no matter where you go. The fuel companies are supposedly adding lubricants to the fuel to make up for what was lost in the sulfur removal process. It's not the sulfur that was lubricating the fuel, but the removal process lesses the lubricity along with reducing the Cetane (energy) in good ol' #2. I've noticed a good decrease in mileage since the ULSD came out, and I add Howes additive to every tank.

You're misinformed. The new diesel, which is already out (15ppm sulfur, ULSD) is indeed compatable with all older diesels. Depending on who you ask/trust you may want to add some lubricity to the new ULSD fuel for the older trucks. The newer trucks with '07 emissions, are required to use the new ULSD, and may be harmed with the old LSD, or previous incarnations of the fuel. The old fuel would likely clog the new style piezo injectors, and soot filters in the exhaust.

GTS is simply an appearance package. It's just a GT.

It's just like a BR Stg 1 shortblock. If you figure on the price of the shortblock. Going rate of $1500, add in the labor and other pieces/parts of doing a 1gina2g swap I think the price comes out about right. Showdown is not the shop that I would use however. Ask MR. Iwishiwascoolx2 what he paid to have his 6bolt swap done back in the day if you think $2800 is expensive. :asshole:

I've had it twice in the last year. It's the worst feeling of sick I have ever had. The first time it literally only lasted about 6hrs. The second time it kicked my ass for a day and a half.

Actually the fun at the end of the Hornet video was JP's stock, auto trans, 198X Honda Accord.

Very nice Dan. Those are some smooth riding cars. You'll love it when it's done! Congrats on the good deal.

I'm still trying to figure out how a seasoned and experienced older racer somehow cannot fathom the reason for the delay in his car moving when he released the transbreak button being the friggin DELAY box!

I find it impossible to find dress shirts for myself (5'11", 230). I have to go XL to fit my chest, 45", and 34/35 for the sleeves, but trying to find that combo with an 18-18.5" neck is impossible. I can choke myself with a 17.5, but avoid that at all costs. I also don't know what's up with some of the fitted button downs out there. I can make the XL work, but it feels like I'm gonna tear the sumbitch if i have to reach for something, or flex. As Americans get taller and fatter the damn clothes are being made for small, skrawny bitches.

+1 Since you're already screwed for a few more years with the Monte, and you're set on getting something bigger, DO NOT BUY and put yourself in the hole for another 5-6 years. Bite the bullet and get yourself the cheapest vehicle that will fit your needs with the best lease program. Don't go over 24 months and you'll have a clean slate sooner than later. The issue that you'll run into is going to be the LTV on a new lease/loan. You'll be hardpressed to get into something new without putting any money down. If your credit is great a lender might go to 135% or so, but that's pushing it. The banks aren't a big fan of having negative equity in something they own either. Maybe get rid of some dogs? Or leave the smelly automobile destroying things in some cages at home?

How exactly was what Powers said uncalled for? I don't know you, but akin to what you did and having a daughter I have brought up similar issues of responsibility to friends of mine that like to act foolish. This is not a slam on your family, but a friendly reminder that hey dude, think before you act. If this comic situation (in your eyes only) does not teach you a lesson or make you think about more dire consequences in the future then you've got plenty more growing up to do. Next time you're out working hard plowing or mowing mull this quote over. "Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it." Brownie points if someone knows who said that.

Cheap drinking for the sake of drinking beer = Miller lite. I think it's the best tasting light beer. Coors and Bud leave me with a little funky aftertaste, Miller tastes much smoother to me. That is unless I'm at one local bar which has $1 Molson Canadian drafts all day, everyday. That becomes the default beer of choice. My favorite Social drinking beer depends on where I'm at, but Rochefort 10, Hoegaarden, Smithwicks, and Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat are some favorites.

AWD's from 92.5-94 had 4bolt rear ends. FYI.
-
That's more about a matchup of two completely inept offenses.

Brees just passed for 350yds and 2 TD's against the Bears D. I can't count how many balls were off target to wide open recievers either. If that's the same defense that Peyton is playing in two weeks I expect an aerial assault by the Colts.
-
When, and why was the 6 bolt swap performed?

AFI Tickets on Razorgator

Quoted, because Linn, per the usual, is on the ball.

Who's nutswingin' an Auto? The Top End car, and Jon P's car are both 6spd cars. One has been 8.99@158, the other mid 9's@164. You sure are confused. Especially if you think that turd of a BBF could hang with either of them, dig or roll. I'm posting information, and factual data. I could care less what they run, or what they beat. Just passing on info that ties into the thread. I am not a fan of Supras, and never will be. Gimme a fox body, with chevy power and a glide any day of the week.
-
If you follow Supra's at all, you'd know this is common knowledge. It's not like it's a one-off pass either. The car is out of the WOTM camp. If you bothered to read the threads on Supraforums, you wouldn't be acting a fool and questioning any legitimacy.
-
.....and you've beaten how many 8.99@158mph cars lately?

Brand new chassis, engine, turbo, auto trans, entirely new combo. Here's the vids.... http://members.aol.com/reliantcody/videos/jpvsjamie.wmv http://www.wotmvideos.com/JPvsJamie.mov
