  1. I'd rather see the air polluted by those "illegal modifications" than to have useless law enforcement officers like those walking around stealing oxygen that real humans like the rest of us could be breathing.
  2. Most of the 4.4x second runs have 60's in the .83x-.84x range.
  3. Turbo Busa built by The Motorhead: 500lbs/570hp .87lbs/hp
  4. In the 1/8th mile, a good run is usually around 3.0-3.1 seconds at 275+mph.

No doubt about that, he's at the top of whatever class he's in at any given time. Currently the quickest and fastest '05 'Stang on the planet.
  6. It stems from the timid styling, poor marketing campaign, and not giving the people a truly new vehicle. The platform was around for a good long while before it turned into the GTO. I have an old C&D magazine where they compared a Holden HSV-R to the BMW M5(i believe it was '02?). That car was basically a 4 door '05 GTO. It had an LS-1 worked over by Callaway to produce nearly 400hp, and it ran neck and neck with the BMW in nearly all their tests. The car is a great car, but not what people expected, or wanted in a new GTO. That name is held in a much higher regard, and warranted a better effort from GM to give the consumers something more than worthy of the badge. Instead they got a really good car that did many things well, but failed to stand out in any way, and grab the imagination, or tug on any heartstrings of GTO or Pontiac loyalists. It really is a shame, and I wish they had a better platform that they could build on and improve. It was definitely a Q-ship type of car that I would have defintely looked into buying. Especially after watching the video below. http://i.b5z.net/i/u/1473169/f/Video/kennygto989.mpg
  7. Just to throw it out there, Oct13th is the Friday before the Nopi finals at Norwalk. So if you're planning on heading up for that, it might swing your vote.
  8. Going back to 1999 Ed Bergenholtz ran the first 9 second pass in a unibody CRX, that was two weeks before Steph Papadakis followed it up with a 9 second FWD pass of his own.
  9. He would be the star of the first video in that bunch.
  10. Just to get my numbers straight based on what you just claimed, and guessing your car weighs at least 3200lbs, you'll be making 900+rwhp? Sure the turbo will support that and then some, but I still think that's a very ambitious claim. Conversely, until you come up here and prove him wrong he assumes ownership of you. :asshole:
  11. When did you hit 130mph Sam? I remembered the video you posted from LaRue when you ran the 11.77@127.xx, and saying you ran 128.xx and some change as well that day. Later in the same thread you mentioned making 650+rwtq with that setup, and how ill that was trying to get traction in 1st gear. I didn't see any numbers posted after that so I found your above post to be a little misleading.
  12. Coltboostin' didn't dyno at Nopi. That red colt GT hatch was another friend of ours. 406whp is about 100hp shy of what coltboostin' was making last summer.

    Coltboostin?

Lest we all forget the '84 Colt Turbo.

    Coltboostin?

What that dude wrote I could not ever refer to as grammar. I couldn't make sense of the latter part of his comment at all, could you?
  15. The truth is for someone to find out, hopefully someday this will all be settled.

    Coltboostin?

What the hell did you just try to say?
  17. Benny, are you having comprehension problems. Yes the car has been clocked at over 180. The calculations of the supposed top speed of the combo also back that fact up. That is why the calculations make our claims VERY possible. We know them as fact, you all see them as bullshit hence the different vernacular to describe the situation at hand.
  18. Based on his current tire size, and gear ratios, at 8500rpm in 5th gear the car would be at 206mph said the numbers on the calculator. Will the car do that? Who the hell knows. I'm sure JP will try, but other factors such as drag, wind speed, and road conditions will undoubtedly come into play. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I'm sure we can get them to you so that you can do your own calculations. The one thing those calculations do prove is that 180mph is without a doubt VERY possible.
  19. I don't even think JP lacks so much brain power as to run his car flat out for 20-30 minutes around Columbus. I hope you get arrested, or hurt yourself or someone else you care about in the process. 60-180 sounds pretty fair, it will show off the power of the two cars, and refute your claim of the impossibility of the Colt hitting 180 in one fell swoop.
  20. Is it not so readily apparent that the entire collective Columbus Racing student body swings off the nuts of "Team ZO6"? Pot meet kettle.
  21. In case you were wondering you can get pulled over for driving a golf cart under the influence.
  22. You use a 1 5/8" header of your choice with that turbo kit. But you knew that and were just being a smart ass with that comment right? Google before you think you're a smarty pants and you try to poke fun at someone. Bump for a nice car.
  23. Look at all the slow bracket racers in the following link....... http://www.ihra.com/raceresults.php?eventid=554&classcode='TS'
  24. Try watching the IHRA top sportsman class if you think bracket racing is for slow turds. It's also the only way you can have any kind of competitive races against cars that are completely unregulated in regards to performance. There is a lot more to bracket racing then having a car that runs consistant ET's. If that's your conception of what it's all about, then that's probably why you've had such little success in doing it.
