no matter what anyone says, this 4 cly 2 liter engine will rape 98% of the cars on this board. I am not taking sides on who or what oil went were but this car is down right nasty and you have to give anyone props on making anything a 9 second car.

bobby another thing to remember any evo thats been a winter car , they seem to rust really easy, most the cars ive looked at in ohio and MI and rust buckets already.

bobby I was in the market for a long time I told myself that average price is around 22-25k low mile nice car, every evo I looked at under the 20k mark was a POS . 16.5 is too low even for a low mile 2003=2004

yup time is flying by! I really like my nissan stuff but since now everyone wants to drift or what not the prices for parts are just way too much, cars have tripled there prices for a mint car . my nissan will be gone wed, but im going to hold on to my motor for it and find another car later on after the fad crap wears off. I am going to re paint this car first and fix the minor flaws and then send the tranny and t case to shep to do his magic. all the engine work is so basic with these motors. Id like to build a reliable drag/street car. The money I had in my nissan engine and suspension I could of had a 10 second dsm. Either way I pick the car up wed and will do pic by pic updates on progress.

Yeah thats for sure, my mom is always that way " its just a car" its not to me. Either way I will never forget the day me and my father were working on this dsm in california it was so sunny out the perfect day we had such a good time. Things like this I will take to my grave and never forget.

Yeah I really hate selling cars that have value to me, I really did think this car was long gone or some 16 year old kid had it all riced out, either way it does need alot of work still, I know this year (summer) will be out of the question on how id like it put together. MAke a long story short I was in california and we came across a nice 90gsx that looked to be sitting for a while, I ended up tracking the marine down and found out he was locked up in the brigg for a DUI he got out that week and I told his buddy he lived with that I was interested in the car. I ended up buying the car for 200 bucks and my father shipped it back to ohio for me on his semi , He was from WA state so I had to wait for the title. Me and my dad had the idea to make a drag/street car with it, but 6 months later I ended up stationed in NC. My father needed room in the garage so I had to sell the car. 4 years later I go to a friend house and find my old GSX sitting in the back yard still with the same WA tags on the back and everything left just as I left it,( its only a shell now tho) He told me that he picked it up from the guy I sold it too. Well yesterday I bought the car back the car is very rust free and im so glad to have it back, it really means alot to me for some reason. Either way im getting out of my nissan stuff to fund this drag car project. I will update with pic's ASAP I knew I would never get away from DSM's.

usually 2-3 weeks from now, here in marysville area they are now just starting to come up, the more rain, and warm the better , soon as it dries up its over.

I miss my old car! good luck in sellilng it hopfully it goes to a good home and stays as clean as ive kept her. I will put my life on this engine and car , ive never had any issue with the car becides the tranny. I went to John sheperds house and he put together an awsome tranny for me, said this tranny will hold whatever I could throw out of it. The waterpump, and timing belt, plugs (ngkbr's) and wires were all done at 100k the previous owner (another family member) had roby mitsubishi do the oil pump,timing belt and water pump at the 85k I did have all the paper work but was lost in my house fire. I re did the timing belt and water pump, and minor stuff again at 100k the reason was the car sat every winter and I felt it needed to be done , the car has only seen one winter and was not by me was the previous owner had no choice in 1999 to drive it in the winter, other then that one winter its been garages kept and washed and waxed once a month. The door handle broke a few days before I showed the car, was very cold and was going to clean the car I grabbed the handle and it slipped and shattered, its a common thing with dsm's but the first time its ever happen to me in the past 8 dsm's ive had.

I think the same way, when I see a ls1 and the car is loud as balls and its just stock with pipes and he is thinking he is billybad ass reving the shit out of his car, or driving around making his pipes kackle that is a ricer in my eyes. SAME SHIT DIFFERENT CAR.

ive had my car called a ricer before but not because it was tacky, just the term old guys use to call imports. The majorty of people who ever said my car was nice or done right was by domestic owners. Who gives a flying what what they call you ?is it really that big of a deal? Almost every day I see riced out domestic's. It would be scary to see you behind a fast car because you would have a chip on your shoulder and try to prove everyone wrong and kill youself because someone called you a @slow ricer

This sucks this happend, I still wish I made it out. About the oil spill that really sucks for everyone and danny. I know you personally from all the older columbus dsm'er. I know you well enough to know you did not do this on purpose to mess up everyones day. Either way maybe you two can aleast talk on the phone and try to find a middle on the situation and figure this out. Sucks for the others that lost time during the wait.

ive always had issues with ACT blocking or locking out going in gear at high rpm, I went to a twin disk and it was great, and a much better pedal feel.

we found a mint 92 tt stealth in a barn in southern ohio car sat in a barn/ garage for years with a fried ecu we picked it up for 1500 bucks and it has 47k on the clock and we went to auto zone that same night bought ecu for 250 and it started up fine. The car is now a nice daily, the car is amazing mint, your car looks really nice.

if your going for such big hp goals ect why cheap out on the clutch?

if you have good credit you can go through honda I got a v6 accord for 250 a month and put only 1500 down.
