  1. Would there be a way to see if it was front vs rear? I am guessing front since the pull is so drastic. I can get a used set of front calipers for 100 shipped, which I will probably buy after I check things out this weekend.
  2. Ok, on my car, the pads sit on the caliper carriers. I will check all of that, thank you.
  3. I will also be re-bleeding the brakes to see if that would cause it........ Need to do it anyway with my clutch install.
  4. I will check the slides, they haven't been greased in a while, so that could be it but i doubt it. I don't quite understand what you mean in the bold. I was thinking the same thing about either one sticking or one not working enough. Any other thoughts?
  5. Hello, My car recently developed a pull under hard braking. It isn't every time, but it is the majority of the time. I have been trying to narrow down when it does it, but haven't noticed a pattern. Under hard braking, the car pulls to the right pretty drastically. Car has newer oem rotors, hps pads, tyrol bushings, goodridge lines and ate fluid. This is a recent change in the last 2 months, and is not tied to the install of the mods. We thought it was the alignment, but I just had it done and everything checked out. Any ideas besides a sticking caliper? Something of note: I just swapped my bilsteins out for the stock suspension and the pull has been consistent with both suspensions, and with 2 alignments. Update: I just took the carriers, calipers and slides apart, cleaned them, greased them and made sure there was no build up of dust anywhere. Still pulls to the right. Another clue though: Once I heat up the brakes, and I mean heat them up big time, it stops straight...... Clues? Still haven't bled the lines yet.
  6. Just checked, only have to 55. Sorry.
  7. Very cool, thanks for the pics. Couldn't make it yesterday, bummer.
  8. I knew someone would say something about saying sports car, it being you was no surprise. :gabe:
  9. You really don't see why someone would compare a 300hp rwd sports car to another 300hp rwd sports car? Interesting. :dumb: The V8 one would be cool though.
  10. Cool to see you drive and fix rather than buy a new one. That is my goal as well. Edited due to below point by nighthawk.
  11. 50% of what I say is right 100% of the time.

  14. Yeah, I didn't like that, not at all. Wester-Ville was better IMO.
  15. You sound like an old fart between this and the old car comment in kickass' thread. Not defending the posted video, just commenting on you. Old fart.
  16. Tastings are fun, do some, then decide.
  17. And lol at giant eagle. Store cake tastes like ass. Betty crocker diy is 10x better. Our cake was either 350 or 450 and fed 80 to 100 I think. Do what u like, weddings are expensive no matter how you do things. Just do what u like and enjoy!
  18. Cake. We used the cake studio, and her cake is amazing. We did both chocolate cake with raspberries and chocolate gonosh in the middle and white cake with strawberries and butter cream in the middle. It was stellar, everyone loved it.
  19. We went to Oahu and Maui. It was great, if we did it over again, it would have been Maui for all and a day trip to see pearl harbor. Total was about 6k. Cheaper places are easily found. We did 4star resorts on both islands and a rental car on Maui.
  20. Ask me how I know... My Jetta coupe looked mint sans small door rust on pass side. Start taking it apart, rusty floor, rocker panels, etc. You might have to buy it out west for it to be worth while.
  21. Agree with Paul. Regular bug, or corsair 2dr coupe. Hard choice.
  22. So what happened to this.........
  23. Kirk and Joe saved this from the mindless drones who accepted this horse shit. And for that, we thank you.
