Also, I haven't got on it yet in fear of not being tuned. I barely got the 1/2 throttle and the factory boost guage was well beyond pegged. Tried to keep it in closed loop since.

Car has 80k on it. All of the 10th anniversary stuff is intact except the wheels, as pointed out. I have been doing some googling for the past hour, and I think I found the guy who owned the car from when it was new, until 2 years ago. The past two years it sat in a garage. with only 5 miles being put on it. This could really help, unless parts have ganked over the last 2 years.

The car handles great. Ride comfort, especially over hard bumps, leaves much to be desired though

Thanks Dave and Kirk, that makes sense Yeh it is mainly going to be a weekend car, but I am sure it will see the strip. The rear tires are also 315s... It almost looks ridiculous. I think they are too big for the rim Any suggestions who I should take it to that knows these cars well enough to go over it, and also that could tune it? I just picked up an 03 10th Anniversary Cobra (question below) http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/cobra.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/interior.jpg No idea on the history of the car. I bought it at auction. My main question is what the hell could this extra wiring be for by the maf? http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/maf.jpg It runs to here.... http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/wires.jpg Here is the rest of the engine, if you see anything else out of place. I know it has a 2.8 upper pulley, and thats about the extent that I know... http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/engine.jpg Thanks in advance

Have you seen the new Explorer? http://1.photos.ebizautos.com/new-2011-ford-explorer-limited-7120-6837769-1-640.jpg

Having owned both I consider my opinion fairly unbiased. That being said, buy an Evo 8 or an Evo 9. The Xs suck. STIs aren't bad though. Full disclosure, I considered buying another one............. for my wife

I watched Fringe last week and the "bad guy" was Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Took me a while to figure out why he looked so damn familiar. It was weird seeing him way older.

Interested. Pics? Especially of the rim that has been curbed.

Spot on I did exactly this before my last home remodel. Worked like a charm.

Truth. I get so pissed when I see someone who barely makes enough to pay their bills, come into a chunk of money (ie. tax return, inheritance) and blow it all paying MSRP for TVs, watches, or whatever. Now there also comes a time where someone EARNS so much, that their time is worth more money than what they could save by taking time to find a deal. I have no problem that. Bob - I still haven't found a deal that has made me close to pulling the trigger yet. I have been rocking my Invicta 7133 for the past year or so. It is by far the least expensive watch I have bought during my adult life. Funny thing is, people have complimented me on it WAY more times than when I wear a watch worth 20x as much. Also that's not why I wear it, just thought it was funny.

Anyone else disappointed in these Black Friday TV Deals?

Walmart is going to have a 32" Emerson LCD for 199 Target has the 40" Westinghouse already mentioned... Word on the street is you might have luck being able to pick one up now and go back Friday or Saturday to recieve price match because of their price guarantee. -

1500. El oh el Just for paper..... Or zombies, should it come to that. I was thinking 7 - 800 yards No scope picked out yet. I have a Leupold on my 300 win mag. Don't care about ammo prices, I have plenty of other caliber rifles to shoot cheaper. I don't reload yet. I just met a few guys that swear by it and are suppose to help me go that route in the future. More than anything I just thought it would be a nice long range to add to the collection at the price, if they are any good. I don't know anyone that has one though.

Actually most LCDs have the same stuff inside. I just bought a 42" RCA for $100 that had sound but no picture. Took it apart and it was all LG and Phillips components. Found some bloated capacitors and ordered new control boards for $70. Works like a charm now. Every single off brand LCD or plasma I've had apart had name brand screens and boards under the casing. -
Tongue it and groove it You know how we lay Mounting an LCD, better hit a stud You know what they weigh? Want a ceiling fan Yo, No Problem Check out those blades as 110 revolves it

Found this on another forum and thought it was funny enough to share Here is the gold digger vs investment banker craigslist posting in its entirety: What am I doing wrong? Okay, I’m tired of beating around the bush. I’m a beautiful (spectacularly beautiful) 25 year old girl. I’m articulate and classy. I’m not from New York. I’m looking to get married to a guy who makes at least half a million a year. I know how that sounds, but keep in mind that a million a year is middle class in New York City, so I don’t think I’m overreaching at all. Are there any guys who make 500K or more on this board? Any wives? Could you send me some tips? I dated a business man who makes average around 200 – 250. But that’s where I seem to hit a roadblock. 250,000 won’t get me to central park west. I know a woman in my yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lives in Tribeca, and she’s not as pretty as I am, nor is she a great genius. So what is she doing right? How do I get to her level? Here are my questions specifically: - Where do you single rich men hang out? Give me specifics- bars, restaurants, gyms -What are you looking for in a mate? Be honest guys, you won’t hurt my feelings -Is there an age range I should be targeting (I’m 25)? - Why are some of the women living lavish lifestyles on the upper east side so plain? I’ve seen really ‘plain jane’ boring types who have nothing to offer married to incredibly wealthy guys. I’ve seen drop dead gorgeous girls in singles bars in the east village. What’s the story there? - Jobs I should look out for? Everyone knows – lawyer, investment banker, doctor. How much do those guys really make? And where do they hang out? Where do the hedge fund guys hang out? - How you decide marriage vs. just a girlfriend? I am looking for MARRIAGE ONLY Please hold your insults – I’m putting myself out there in an honest way. Most beautiful women are superficial; at least I’m being up front about it. I wouldn’t be searching for these kind of guys if I wasn’t able to match them – in looks, culture, sophistication, and keeping a nice home and hearth. it’s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests ************************************************************ ************************************ THE ANSWER Dear Pers-431649184: I read your posting with great interest and have thought meaningfully about your dilemma. I offer the following analysis of your predicament. Firstly, I’m not wasting your time, I qualify as a guy who fits your bill; that is I make more than $500K per year. That said here’s how I see it. Your offer, from the prospective of a guy like me, is plain and simple a crappy business deal. Here’s why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But here’s the rub, your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity…in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won’t be getting any more beautiful! So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you’re 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you! So in Wall Street terms, we would call you a trading position, not a buy and hold…hence the rub…marriage. It doesn’t make good business sense to “buy you” (which is what you’re asking) so I’d rather lease. In case you think I’m being cruel, I would say the following. If my money were to go away, so would you, so when your beauty fades I need an out. It’s as simple as that. So a deal that makes sense is dating, not marriage. Separately, I was taught early in my career about efficient markets. So, I wonder why a girl as “articulate, classy and spectacularly beautiful” as you has been unable to find your sugar daddy. I find it hard to believe that if you are as gorgeous as you say you are that the $500K hasn’t found you, if not only for a tryout. By the way, you could always find a way to make your own money and then we wouldn’t need to have this difficult conversation. With all that said, I must say you’re going about it the right way. Classic “pump and dump.” I hope this is helpful, and if you want to enter into some sort of lease, let me know.

If they really were from the future, someone else from the future (after this branch of time line continuim plays out) should have already went back and said, "Hey dumbass, you are about to be on camera proving time travel so stay out of view" After that happens, that one little change makes this thread never exist, since there is nothing to see on the Chaplin film. CR - Proof that time travel doesn't exist
