  1. So to throw out a basic option that has worked out well for us... we bought a 2016 fusion from JET in March of 2016 for 15k. Had 20k miles on it and checked all the dd boxes for us, leather, heated seats, sync, 35mpg, blue on black. It's nothing special but fun and comfortable enough to drive in the daily back and forth. 3.5 years later it's been issue free and we could sell it at any time and be ahead of negative equity. On the flip side should you decide to increase your budget I can put you in a white 2017 or 2018 1500 LTZ 4x4 with a 5/100 powertrain for cheaper than anyone in the country. 3. So I haul the kids around in a 2010 minivan. Just north of the Dublin riverside roundabout today a guy realized he was about to miss his turn and clipped our left front corner. Nothing major, needs a fender, headlight, and a little work to the front bumper. My concern is that it hit the LF wheel and pushed us up onto the curb on the right side. Everything seems like it may be fine but I care more about the mechanical safety then anything cosmetic. Any recommendations on shops on the north side that can quote the mechanical and body without going off the deep end. At the end of the day it’s probably a $5000 van so it doesn’t need to be a high end shop. Thanks
  4. One of our 2019 lariats put a rod through the block at 5,000 miles... Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  5. This just came up on my next door that I was thinking if our kids were older I'd look at for a hs car. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

Thanks for updating this. We are moving this month and would like to finally actually get cameras around the house and in the garage. I think this will probably be the route we go... now to go search threads on home networks.... Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  7. Probably not a huge demand for something like this private party but just in case, my boss is looking to sell his daughter's Explorer. I looked at buying it for my wife but it has the 2nd row bench so won't work with my kids. It's super clean and really well optioned. 2016 Explorer XLT 4WD V6 47,851 miles. 1 owner, clean carfax. Black leather Pano roof Nav heated seats and steering wheel 3rd row 20" polished Alum wheels. weathertechs He is looking for $27,500 so let's call it a firm $26,000. only downside is it's located in Fort Wayne Indiana. Should anyone on here actually buy it I'll have it delivered to you.
  8. Scott if you go asphalt I cannot recommend amigo fernando enough. I think our last one was 18 square, for strip off, install, new vents and trim around a few rotted windows was 4k when everyone else wanted 5400-6200 Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

  10. They will probably not be the cheapest but they do good work. If you reach out to them feel free to tell Matt(the owner) that Matt from Contract Sweepers referred you. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

  12. What kind of stuff are you normally into, years, price range, ARV?
  13. I sell 10 of these a week with blown engines. As others have said it's mostly maintenance driven but I see them all the time going out between 80-130k. The well maintained ones are probably few and far between at this point. But then again you did just throw out the option of an x3... I guess at least those change their own oil... 14. They do wholesale but they are very much a dealer. If you find one you need shoot me the vin. In my experience they like cars that have previous accidents, prior repair, structural damage. But I've seen them buy plenty of perfectly fine stuff too. I want to say a lot of their stuff gets inspected too so that's a plus. I also recommend JET. They are awesome.
  15. I actually work there so I'm happy to answer any questions I can. I oversee the largest repo account and all the units you see on lane 18. The best answer to your question is it depends. It depends on what your looking for. In my opinion the best/most overlooked deal is the lease repossessions. Let's say you are in the market for 2017 journey, we probably have a few and they are going to sell for dealer cost, let's say 16-17k well optioned. Most people that go though are looking at the sub 6k stuff. And this stuff can go a few different ways. Most of the clean units are going to go for a lot more than you think to some buy here pay here where it'll get shoved down someone throat during tax season for 20% interest. But if you don't get too locked into any one vehicle and aren't too picky you'll find something that works for you and is a good enough deal. We sell about 2,000 cars each Tuesday and you can walk and preview the cars on monday. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  16. I'd lean towards the Jeep until you have atleast 3 kids. I love that pano roof and they are pretty issue free. We run into tons of issues with the Cherokee and journey but nothing with the grand Cherokee. The 2015's still have the 100k warranty too. The only air ride issue I've ever seen was one that hit a wall so that doesn't really count. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  17. That feels like it's written in the modern view of having super cars and hyper cars. But I will say I've driven the majority of that list and the tesla and the Audi r8 were my stand out favorites Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  18. I research and watch stocks on a free stock watch app I like and then do the actual trading through Ally for the low fees. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  19. In Hilliard and grove city my issue was just the ice. Had to move 100 cars or so and every one was frozen solid. That and snowdrifts that were over a foot kept things interesting and slow moving.
  20. Pshhh they were solid, as was the 5sp getrag as long as you kept to stock power. Which, speak of the devil, is a supercar requirement! Boom, still a supercar. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  21. What I get from all of this is that the 1991 3000GT VR4 was definitely a supercar, thanks all! Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  22. For those that are over 50, what did you think of these cars when they first came out? Personally I think the car world gets pretty boring if we say the only cars that are supercars over the past 30 years are Lamborghini Ferrari bugatti and Porsche. I'd like to believe it's the few hand fulls of cars each year that in their time separated themselves from the pack. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  23. Carmax's body shop will have them all fixed and good to go for under 10k Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  24. I used to work across the street from Brick in the brewery district so we often rented out the basement for events. Good food, cool/unique space. Couldn't have been horribly priced because our controller was CHHHEAP. The event space looks like this Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  25. That's really cool, I like that they use the factory options/features. Looks like it doesn't work on CRV's or 2005's. I may reach out to them just to confirm though. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
