  1. Basically from what I'm seeing, the price is made up of: Interchange fees- which is the interchange rate + cost per transaction. Fees- which are a bunch of nicknacky fees (service charge, gateway fee, batch fee, network fee) Service Charges- The service charges are the real killer in my mind. They are made up of volume fees and sales discounts. The minimal knowledge I have on this all tells me he interchange rates are those you cannot change. They are set by the banks/card issuers etc. Our cost per transaction is only $0.10 which doesn't seem too bad. I'd also be curious if anyone else knows what they are currently paying as an overall percentage, everything included; fees, address verification, interchange costs, statement costs, access costs. Obviously, technically some of those shouldn't be rolled as a percentage but it seems to be a decent measurement. That's the percentage for us that is about 3.5%
  2. "UPDATE FROM ODJFS: Xerox’s cash and food assistance card payment systems went down Saturday morning. They have restored the cash system but the EBT card system remains down at this time. ODJFS has reported Xerox is currently working on restoring the EBT system. All states that use the Xerox system are affected by the outage. Xerox is notifying retailers to go to the manual system in the meantime. SNAP recipients should call the 800 number of their back of the card and Xerox will guide them through the purchase process. Customers can spend up to 50 dollars until the system is back online." Soo.. While it sounds like the process might be a little longer then norm, its not like they can't buy food period. At least it wasn't the 1st-10th...
  3. http://www.heavy.com/news/2013/10/joseph-joey-patterson-adrian-peterson-son-attack/ Some additional things on it. Also, looks like Adrian may have only recently knew he even had this son because it was a secret relationship. Doesn't change the tragedy, but it certainly taints my relation to it.
  4. Hey so I'm looking at switching our companies credit card processor, or at least shopping some rates. With the experience here in regards to similar matters I thought I'd pick some brains and get some of your thoughts/opinions/experiences. Yearly amt via CC: $250k - $500K. Currently with Huntington After including all the fees/charges we are right around 3.5%
  5. For reference, our company (90ish) employees is looking at a 70% increase as well. They spent a mountain of time and effort trying to get a decent rate this year. The initial estimates they were getting were 130-150% increase. Also, worth noting is this is on top of the 30% (ish)increase last year.
  6. 3/S doors are heavy as sh#$ too. Something to keep in mind, but they do have that nice edge on the rear most part of the door that if the poppers didn't pop it open all the way you could use that like a handle. If you decide to go the used/pocket some insurance money route there are a few guys in the area that keep or can get most used 3/S parts.
  7. If you decide to take it somewhere a buddy of mine Colin owns Buckeye Laptop @ 109 S High St. you are welcome to tell him Turbitt sent you and he will take care of you.
  8. I read the article but all I really saw was... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3BDeDdkObY/UGNgOCyhs5I/AAAAAAAADQw/bXDbsZbJxDU/s1600/oprah-bees.gif
  9. Thanks everyone, I ended up using Capital. They were very professional and much better and easier to deal with then any other towing company I've dealt with before. For peoples reference the current CR pricing is: $64 for the hook $2.55/mi They flat bedded my 2wd truck, which I certainly can't complain about. Overall, I'm a happy customer and will be using them in the future for the 3000GT.
  10. http://www.bluenile.com/ All my wife's jewelry comes from there. No haggle, no hassle, amazing customer service.
  11. I need my truck towed from Hilliard to downtown, 14 miles. I'm thinking I remember there being a certain company people here recommend but couldn't seem to find one of the threads on it. So who do people recommend? It's just a 2wd work truck so cost effective is a plus. Thanks.
  12. We use Delille for our 15 tanks at work. Also, I'd stay away from Praxair in case that comes up at all.
  13. Just in case you weren't aware and have AEP, they will give you $50 for any fridge that kicks on. Though, I support the gifting to CR members if that was the purpose as well.
  14. At work we use Container Management Co. in Columbus. We buy poly though. for reference they are $25/ea
  15. Maybe him, but other then that no one at a Germain dealership.
  16. Finally a truck for the modern man that wants to haul nothing... except his bros to the club.
