It's all nuts and bolts like any other engine. 2003 E55 is the most undesirables year, but there is one with more than 400k miles on the original engine and transmission. Matter of fact, the alternator was the only "major part" replace.

I've always fantasied about owning an R63 AMG. Over the last three years I may have seen less than five of them pop up on the market. Most are in the mid $30k until this year. Thank you for the suggestions, all very good points. I guess the biggest concerns would be rust, scratches, and paint condition. As far as the value, no, it's not adding any value to the car.

Hello all I'm looking to buy a car. It's a car that I plan to keep for a long time. The car is currently vinyl wrapped. How do I go about getting the car check? I'm sure removing the wrap is out of the question. The wrapped job receipt was $4k.

Better yet Tim, just rent one of the trailer from the members here and you're set. They're not using it for another 3-4 months anyway.
