I got a bit excited when I saw it, as well. I think people have been a bit more read for it that they've thought. However, I don't think the Prii are going anywhere. Quite the contrary, the reason the hybrids are probably down is due to the wait for the new Prius lineup just being released. Especially, the new Prius C, which for under 20k is going to sell like hotcakes. I wonder how long makers will 'go both ways'. If this'll be like a "Blu-ray vs HD DVD" thing or will both diesel and hybrid lines continue to grow and evolve? The problem with diesel is that it's been said it can't really be developed much more. It's reached it's zenith, so to speak. They always seem to find a way, though. So, who knows. Our RAV4 v6 4x4 routinely gets 28+ highway. Of course, it's almost 1500lbs lighter than the Touareg. lol

I went and listened to the original immediately afterward. I do like it, but I think I may actually like the cover more. That's pretty rare for me. (For example, the cover of the N.I.N. song Hurt by Johnny Cash, is another.) I like the different voices as they contrast and yet, still mix well; in my no-music-pro-speak 'talk'. The middle guy who sings chorus has a bit of Sting-ish sound to me, as well. Does the guy on the far right remind anyone of an actor or some other person who's been on tv? Has that same kinda face, similar beard?

I think it looks good, but only because it reminds me of a car that has similar styling that already looked good when it came out. So, I have some mixed emotions. It looks good, but when did Ford digress into an old Korean design studio? Or is "digress" the wrong word? More like improved. lol Sad. Either way, looks pretty good.
