  1. Race or otherwise aside, the officer did not handle that well. I think we all agree on that. However, an officer like this is just as dangerous as an officer who overreacts violently to a situation. Humans are no different from you a wild animal or your pet dog, it's the fearful ones that are the most dangerous and unpredictable.
  2. Yes, I know. Still have your ransom note? lol
  3. I think you're confusing your chicken and the egg story. Couple quick things. It's been proven by the numbers, and makes logical sense given population numbers, that whites commit as many, if not more, crimes. Okay, so let's say your argument, then is that more specifically, a white person is less likely to attempt to flee. Well, then you'd have to make the assumption that each race views the risks of fleeing or not fleeing equally. That's simply not the case. I'm trying to keep this point brief, so if you'd like me to explain why, I can later.
  4. Doh.... I'd like to be in line for the vacuum in case jmc327 falls into a wormhole on the way to pick up the items. :burn:
  5. They never seem to show up when I actually need them. Other than that, the only kids old enough I know near me both got their first cars yesterday. I found myself helping them this morning to safely raise their cars after looking out my front window in time to see one of them drive up and off some ramps, getting them stuck underneath the car. lol
  6. Managed to squeeze in the front yard before the rain, however I'd still like to know who on the SW side can do a quick, cheap mow on short notice in the future? Thanks.
  7. C'mon guys... Are you kidding me? I'm seeing both sides of the argument here but what any of you have failed to question is why hadn't the officer used one of many other non-lethal alternatives?
  8. Chimps frighten me a little. Being around them or anything doesn't bother me. Just as far as being attacked by shit in the forest goes. lol You ever hear about those, I think 3-4 young guys, awhile back at a zoo who kept teasing the shit out of a resident tiger for a prolonged period, one who'd been raised in captivity; not a wild one, per se. Well, it decided that day it was going to escape. Not just escape and run for it, though. It escaped and then HUNTED DOWN those assholes in the park. I believe it killed at least one of them and mauled two of the others.
  9. You're one of the worst videos. Don't you dare tell me that's the worst video on the nets. I've been on CR far too long to believe that shit. And don't tell me, to one extent or another, that in a similar situation (girlfriend in the car or not), you haven't felt in any way like that. At least when you were younger and not so jaded... Seriously, don't tell me any of those things. I don't care.
  10. Update edit: Like to know who on the SW side can do a quick, cheap mow on short notice in the future? Someone on here hooked me up in the past but I cannot recall offhand who it was. Thanks.
  11. I'll save some of you some time right now. There's no accident.
  12. I may head up. If anyone recognizes me in the Vibe, plz say something so I don't get bored and leave in 10min. haha
  13. 3 things. I caught the edit OP. I'm very territorial. And, since you've changed the title, it's now a repost.
  14. I'm sorry, man. It's always a painful loss. At least she had someone who cared for her all her life.
  15. Are either/both parents OFA certified?
  16. Given the time of year, larger holes generally indicate a bird's attempt at nesting. Many wooden parts of a house have a bit of a hollow sound to them when pecked so they think they can bang out a hole and there'll be a cubby in there. When they bang for grubs, etc, the holes are usually in multiples and far smaller. Can you get to the holes? You should be able to visually confirm any insect burrowing. Do the birds just keep hammering out the same hole? If so, that's another nesting indicator. It's probably too late now, but you can try providing nests specifically for those types of woodpeckers you're seeing. If it's nesting behavior, a little research will probably net you a few other alternative solutions. If you can get up there and snap come good pics, post them up. Of the birds, too, if you can catch them in the act. After figuring that out, get ready for carpenter bee season.
  17. There's a good chance there's nothing. What diameter are the holes and have you seen the actual woodpecker?
  18. Loving that Datsun. Should be able to actually make it out to the next two CnCs. It'll be in the Vibe though so nobody will care.
  19. I meant to mention anyone who plays should drop their game name in here. I can't actually recall mine offhand. If I play this weekend, I'll add it. I still have a key left, btw.
  20. Depends on how early my girlfriend falls asleep. Gotta keep the ol' options open.
