  1. Ahh, I want to read the bitching extravaganza!
  2. Almost as much as your gullet. (Little inside info, the company this is from is called Sexing Technologies. A lab specializing in, yes, semen. Predominantly, cattle. ) I'm sure they've sorted them out by now, but I do know the 1.6ecoboost had at least a half dozen recalls. You should talk your company into the 2L ecoboost. Still, you don't have to pay for repairs, etc so the 1.6 would still probably be better than the crap na 2.5.
  3. I love knowing about "reskins" and the like. Dunno why. That being said, I didn't know that or at least I don't recall that about the Eclipses. Think I'll look into it. Thanks for that little knowledge nugget.
  4. Must've missed it. Knew I shoulda watched it again. Lucky bastard.
  5. We'll have to pass for sure for the fitment reasons above. :\
  6. A company car was added to our "garage" last week. A white 2015 Ford Escape SE AWD with the 2L ecoboost option. It's 12 less hp than the Focus ST (probably due to intake/exhaust plumbing) and rides on a reconjiggered Focus platform. The AWD has torque vectoring and all that new jazz, lane assist, etc. It is a 6sp auto w/manual shift option (eh). Interior is nicer than the new Mustang GT's; after going for one right to the other. More soft touch plastics, as well. Haven't really had a chance to frustrate myself with the Ford MyTouch or SYnc or whatever it is, yet. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as I've heard. It's not as quick or efficient as the RAV nor is it as roomy, but it does feel a bit more car-like even though it weighs as much if not a bit more (wth?). It is quieter, though. MSRP was just over 29k. Either way, it was a 100%free, brand new, company purchased vehicle and that's hard to beat. Some stock photos. Basically, most know what it is/looks like. 7. A friend of mine was looking for a luxury car and this was on his list. I put my foot down because I felt a luxury car shouldn't putt around with that engine. I went into further detail but that's the gist of it. Sure, you could chip it, bolts ons, etc, but then you're still kinda defeating the purpose of a luxo daily. Besides, modded 2L turbos don't have the proper character for a true luxury automobile, imo.
  8. More recently, first gen Fusions (heard they've improved), Chevy Cobalt, Nissan Versa, last two gens of the Hyundai Elantra. Going old school, any K series Chrysler.
  9. Looks like he tried to skirt around that car and lost it. Wonder if they survived.
  10. These still for sale at $200/piece? Slim chance at purchase but still curious.
  11. Just measured above the fireplace... Little too long. We have this stupid ceiling bump that separates the two living room spaces and it's in the way. I'm assuming it hides a beam; looks like shit/stupid.) Are the mirror edges beveled or anything or just a straight sheet of mirror basically? I'm going to ask her if she would still like it later tonight when she's home and let you know for sure on here. Understandably, if someone comes and takes, I'm SOL.
  12. Nice. Sounds like just the write options, too.
  13. OP, has this solved the problem?
  14. Very nice. I couldn't imagine owning any other new Audi other than that one. Color is wonderful, too.
  15. Would you mind sending me some live photos and text updates while we're on the way there? I've got some Youtube to catch up on and I can't be watching for runners who aren't on the sidewalks. It's important I get there to learn proper driver safety... for my girlfriend.
  16. I'm interested in this but probably wouldn't be able to do anything about it until the weekend. There is a chance for an evening pickup this week; I'll let you know unless it's gone already. We've been really looking for something above the fireplace. Thanks.
  17. lol Yeah, I caught that, too. It's like his car ran just enough to get his ass there so it could embarrass him. Probably for the SUP BRA.
  18. This is how I feel pretty much. It really isn't a good or efficient automobile. The only saving grace is that powertrain, it's possibilities and very little competition for what it offers. Throw away the ecoboost and that things drives off into the woods to die. Ford themselves offers a far better alternative to its own Taurus, imo.
  19. You know what? Stop stopping. Problem solved. And if nothing else, the harder you brake, the more it'll shake which is like one of those fancy emergency braking situation alerts you get in something like a Cadillac except your whole car shakes and warns everyone in it. Tight.
  20. May not be warped, just uneven, burnt in pad deposits. Either way, replace them both. Especially given you can find some super cheap rotors.
  21. Shiny... Sorry things are looking up time-wise. Car looks great, though.
