Watched that vid last night and accompanying one showcasing the Japanese robot. It would be far better than that tripe they tried to show a couple seasons ago, Robot Combat League. Other robot's vid:

Reminds of the ZAMAC cars from Hot Wheels. Here are a couple examples. Unpainted bodies with a clearcoat. I completely get what you're saying and something similar crossed my mind while reading this thread. Many of these games are nostalgic to us. Many of these remade would not probably sell well or wouldn't even be the same game we recall and love. So, I view it more as a for-fun, nostalgic throwback memories kinda thing. Some of those listed do need straight up sequels, though.

I see a few Road Rash request. I'd just like to add that the 3DO was by far the best version and that's the one that needs the sequel, so to speak.

Yeah, I still enjoyed it. I've actually attended one before when I lived in Vegas. I've always thought it would be cool to come up with my own bot, but who doesn't? lol

No kidding. Way too much 'fluff'. I don't mind having a bit of insight into the teams and robots, but enuf with the rest of the shit. It takes 10min just to start a goddamn battle. I also expected something a bit newer as far as bot tech goes. It's early, however so I'm still hoping for some truly interesting bots.

I'm not a sunglass guy (I can't stand cheap ones but can never justify the price of some good ones becuz I'm a cheap-ass), so I'm curious why the Oakleys are $50 even though they're scratched? I've heard Oakleys are some decent shades, and as I mentioned I'm sunglass ignorant when it comes to brands, so help me out if you don't mind.

When Norm (Littleguy) and I hang out, we identify as one whole white guy or one whole Latino guy depending on the situation, ie; white for the authorities or loans, Latino for rougher areas we live or find ourselves in or for any kind of EEO or affirmative action.
