Well, raced Thorne Friday night in the g/f's 2002 Cougar. Let's just say he was owned. Oh, and from a stop, I might add. Seems in another thread he's crying about his bov and a boost leak. I say, you run what you brung and he 'brung' it. I just 'brunged' it a little more.

Well, I don't see why it would be a big deal. Maybe the panel can come halfway up to at least block the lower half. No reason why it shouldn't be doable if it's not already. And, as long as the wheels are driven independently, that thing can spin in a cirlcle, so handling shouldn't be an issue. I'd definitely go for a drive in one. Even if the design has flaws, at least it shows thinking outside the box which, I believe, is a step in the right direction, at this point.

Yes. It is. And the Supra team had the faster car and teh advantage. They gave the other team a chance, though. Eventually, the supra had a problem, too, and it almost cost them. They then went to an all or nothing race which the supra dominated. The other team was given lane choices, leads, etc. Didn't matter.
