Same thing happened to me, in the same place. I think we are just low hanging fruit to them. He wouldn't clarify why he would impound my car for a nonmoving violation.

damn it! forgot the front plate lol. I tend to attract overzealous police officers trying to tax the shit out of me for non moving violations, and I assume they will be profiling me due to the nature of this car. Therefore, I will keep it to the letter of the law. Driving like a normal person, I averaged 27.1 mpg through the first tank. Which brings up the one glaring problem with this car, a 12.4 gallon tank. That is just ridiculous if you ask me, but oh well. I filled it with premium for under 35 bucks.

I recently had a heart to heart with myself and came to the realization that I didn't need five vehicles clogging my garage and driveway. My goal was something that could be driven year round, came with a manual and sunroof, and was fun while still maintaining some utility. This is what I came up with, and it is a loaded ST3 model. Full leather heated Recaros, heated outside mirrors, hids, nav, very decent sound system, etc. After driving it for a week, I really like it. No real guess. I don't think it will see a drag strip soon. I went on my first ride in Coshocton and realized that Ohio is not entirely flat. That instantly made me put away the extensions I have and keep it stock wheelbase and enjoy it. Not the best bike made for cornering, but it does very well for a big fat pig.

I recently added full exhaust to my bike. Once again, Brian went out of his way to get me in the very next day. Not only did it make great power, but it rides like stock. Reef blue, scrap those flares and go with Capri fenders. Much more subtle and you can still wedge some tire under them (maybe not 315's up front though).

I was actually surprised at the lack of apparent damage. Both driver and passenger doors opened without a hitch. Hose the poo off the seats and try it again rednecks.
