I have a 90 Eagle Talon non turbo and I have put a new battery and new alternator on it and it still will not charge the battery. I am going to take the alternator back off and have the battery and alternator tested again but i was wontering if anyone knew of a fusible link or fuse in between the alternator and the battery. If you do then i would like to know where it is located so i can check it. Thanks.

If it turns out that you do need a new oil pan give me a shout and ill see if i have one. I have a lot of dsm parts.

depending on where you live if you need someone to take a quick look to see if they can tell what kind of an oil leak you have pm me and ill see what i can do for you. Just trying to give you some options. Like it was just said there are a lot of gaskets in that area that can leak.

Here is a question you will be wanting to get answered real soon since you just bought the car. Has the timing belt been changed recently these cars if the timing bely goes the engine has to be rebuilt so you may want to check into that. Just a little advice from someone that has went through this already.

I havent looked yet but I was wondering if anyone on here has installed a aftermarket tach on a 90 Eagle Talon or any other 1st gen DSM. I need to know where to hook the tach wire to.

Im not being a smart ass or anything but isnt this in the wrong room? Shouldnt it be in the garage sale room?

Rotors would only cause vibrations when driving if the rotors are badly warped or you have sticking brake calipers (that would cause rotors to warp). Hope it helps!

Hey Edwin the book here says that if it is a 7cm housing it is 10 PSI if it is a 10cm housing then it is 17 PSI. Hope this helps you out! Catch you later! By the way my talon is at the apartment again and I think I will be getting the A1 head stud set to fix it with but ill let you know for sure later.

The car didnt have head studs yet. That is the key part since I am probably going to order the A1 head studs from IPS here in a few weeks.

Let me know how that turbo helps man!! Cant wait to see how your car will improve. lol P.S. I am getting full key inserts or the studs because they will hold up a lot better i think. I can get the key inserts for $100 for 6 or if I remember right the A1 studs were around $300 for the whole set. Either way this car is getting finished so i can drive the damn thing instead of it sitting around. lol

My preference is Lincoln welders but Miller is also a good brand.

I may come just to watch my car is not going to be ready to run this year but maybe next year.

If still in doubt of how much the cooling system will hold you could also try calling advance auto parts I know their computer says the max capacity of some vehicles.

Whats the price? If I can make the bolt size even just a very small amout larger it will work in my car. The head bolt will thread down in but as soon as you put any kind of torque on it they strip.
