  1. i got my mom to cosign for me, got a credit card from 5/3 bank with 0% interest for 12 months, took out 2 thousand dollars in a cash advance, paid it off in the 12 months. Got an interest free loan, and built credit. Win/Win situation. You coud ask your parents to cosign, thats your best bet if you dont want an interest rate over 20% I believe 5/3 still has this card promotion going on

  10. if the o ring is bad, the screw will vibrate and either tighten or loosen, that o ring keeps it snug where u want it,
  11. cant she just look at that damn o ring, like ive said in every other post. and taking out the ISC(idle speed control, same thing as iac, mitsubitchi just called it something different) to clean usually results in making it worse, your going to have to get a new one or find a good used one
  12. if i can remember right and it has the same motor as the chrystler van, there is a resistor box of some sort below and the distributor that, if faulty, will create the symptoms you expalined.
  13. yes check that o ring, let the car warm up and idle and turn the screw until your idle sounds good, it should be at 750 rpm when warmed up
  14. does it have the recirculation adapter or is it just atmospheric dump?

  16. the biss has a small o ring fitted on it, from what you described it will stay loose until you replace this, if you tightened it all the way you already fucked up the idle, if you would have to keep on the gas while idling that just might mean that the idle speed control soleniod is fucked up, and for your dsm, buy a haynes manual and sit down and read chapter 6 i believe, it is all on diagnostics and has all the codes and troubleshooting solutions, and if you think you have a bad injector, pull the spark plugs it will tell you right away. Are you sure that tech school of yours isnt for the "special" kids?

  18. yes the codes will stay in the system, if the idles fucked up it could be the isc(idle speed control) valve on the throttle body, mines bad in my talon and it idles like shit jumping from 2500 rpm to stalling when the engines cold, but it idles better when the engine warms up. $300 part and only carried at the dealership be more specific in your problems and read the codes. You take a multimeter and next to the interior fuse box will be a small outlet, you touch the tips of the multimeter to the upper left most prong and the lower right most prong and the multimeter should show short flashes on the screen. all of this is explained online or in the haynes manual, its really not that hard, and is the first place you should have started
