What plans do you have for "big" poet because right now you probably don't need anything larger than stock and if you want to make real power 48lb won't get it done

As it Is it going through insurance she just needs to make sure whatever shop she goes with is certified to do the repairs. Many people don't realize not all shops are certified for insurance claim work.

I would guess these have the same issue the Grand Prix has with the climate control head itself, can you apply power with a probe to the actuator and see if all works correctly?

Are you completely sure that is the only thing causing your issue? Most shops won't touch something like that without them doing the diag. Call columbus trans or A-team and they should be able to quote you for just the solenoid
