That was crazy, especially when they caught that car lol. I couldn't even begin to imagine that feeling.

http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=903780 DALLAS -- A Texas high school girls basketball team on the winning end of a 100-0 game has a case of blowout remorse. Now officials from The Covenant School say they are trying to do the right thing by seeking a forfeit and apologizing for the margin of victory. I think the bad judgment was in the full-court press and the 3-point shots," said Renee Peloza, whose daughter plays for Dallas Academy. "At some point, they should have backed off." WTF call the waaaaaambulance.....

Nice Z32, love the garage pic and welcome. The Z community grows once again lol.

Damn that is clean. I have always liked PGT's, but the engine bay keeps me from owning one. I service a first gen GT with the 2.2 turbo and it is a ton of fun for sure (minus FWD). Good luck with your build and let words of discouragement motivate you. Welcome to the board btw!

Check out that donk lmao. Not as cool as the candy ones that have snickers and skittles stickers etc....

Well that table explains a lot, his is red with no specified ring color/dot. It matches none of the other Maxima's harness connector, which would tell me that that injector was only used on his motor period, but it does say J30 next to it. Maybe the J30 has a VE30DE then. That helps a ton, I'll double check alldata and ondemand. Would the recall be still in effect? I mean his car was built like 07/92 and it has almost 192K on it. Don't get me wrong the car is IMMACULATE, but I would think it's too late? Thanks for the table, that is what I was really looking for!

I wonder how much the purple timing belt was. I totally dislike impractical cars and this is one of them. Why build a car like that and not drive it? Oh i have this, this, AND this...but none of it works well together and it has less than 200 miles on it? I would drive the piss out of that car, I would daily it, and it for sure will see snow if need be.

So, I have a friend that has a 1992 Nissan Maxima with a 3.0 liter VE30DE. I need to get a set of fuel injectors for it. Does anyone know off the top of their head what else these injectors were used in? Same as the VG30DE, or the VQ30DE that are in the Infiniti J30 or I45/Newer Nissan Maxima's? I know a little about Nissan motors, I would assume VE, VG, and VQ denote different blocks and 30DE is the head. Two of the 6 injectors have a super high impedance and either need to be refurbished or replaced. I would just assume buy a whole set of refurbished ones from injectorwhse.com. Just wondering if there is a cross somewhere, we are having trouble finding refurbished injectors for the VE motor.

Craigslist is super competitive now that a lot of people know about it. Good catch though looks pretty clean. Complaining about not fitting two cars in, I wish i had some garage space period lol.

Thanks for the facts, but that is what I'm talking about. The only reason why they sell so high is because they have the biggest draw of like minded people who really want that one car and it goes down to who has the biggest pockets, not necessarily what it is worth. We had a guy at the shop trying to sell an '86 honda accord with like 34K miles on it for 6K. He will never sell it in this area, we told him to take it to auction and hopefully two people will fight over it and run it up that high.

Barrett Jackson is the WAAAYYYY high range of the market value for those cars anyway. You COULD NOT sell those cars anywhere else but there. People there are stupid as shit. There is certainly some stuff that is totally worth the selling price like the Ford tri motor airplane and the charity cars are always worth the extra penny, but some of that stuff is ridiculously priced and can be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Plus Barrett Jackson collects on 10% of the final sale, and the buyer has to pay a $10,000 fee when they buy the car on top of the paid price for having the "priveledge" of buying at Barrett Jaskson. I have been watching almost every night. Don't get me wrong it is certainly fun to watch, I would NEVER buy there.

1977 trans am after looking through my parents picture albums of cars my dad owned in the past. Followed closely by the late 80's 300zx's and the old Datsun roadsters/240z's.

So, this morning i received an email from speeds and it was a three question survey gauging interest in opening a new facility. I headed over to their website after the survey to post it up here, but there was no where to click to take the survey. It says they are actively seeking feedback from former customers, so check your emails/old emails! Anyone else get the email? Heard anything else? http://www.speeds.cc/

Our labor rate at the shop is around $85 per hour, you figure that is what you pay for our expertise and our facilities. So, take out the expertise fee and that is the facility fee. I would say $40-$50 for non CR members, $30-$40 with the hook up. Of course that depends on your monthly budget to operate. I wouldn't want to pay more than $40 per hour, you figure some people cannot do brakes (for example) as quickly as others, so the price needs to be fair for those DIY once and awhile people. (Not that I am one of those people, but I think that is what I would feel) You may offer discounts on the rates if the customer is just doing an oil change maybe knock $5-$10 off the rate since with a lift and a little experience shouldn't take to terribly long to drain/fill the oil and inspect the car/check tire pressures. You could make fluids available as well on a "just in case" basis, or set up shop near a couple parts stores.

Savings. Fix what needs to be fixed (swap), then work on going faster all around (springs), then look good (rimz), then relax and play video games.

If the MR2 is your toy and you are replacing it with the Subaru as your toy then I say downgrade. If you drove the MR2 daily and were looking to get something newer, it is obviously a more practical daily. I would love to have a Subaru, but to replace my MR2 as a daily and to put the MR2 away in the winter. I have never driven a turbo MR2, but from what I have heard they are an absolute blast. I plan on getting one sometime when the time is appropriate and school is not a priority. Of course I am biased since I own one, but we work on such a HUGE variety of cars at the shop that I have driven a shit ton of different vehicles. There are not many that I would replace the MR2 with as a toy.

Good idea for those who don't have access to that type of equipment. My first thought is that I would not want people "hanging out" in the area where cars are being stored. You know? I would not be happy to hear there was a big hangout in a facility where my car was being stored. Just my .02

Holy extra time I wish I had. Takes some skill, but wow.

SR3's were built as a way for amateur racers to purchase a fully prepped track car that is a shit ton of fun. Most straight line people would have no idea what that is.
