It's interesting how everytime a supra thread comes up inquiring about how to mod 2jz gets spouted off really quick. Nothing wrong with the 7m, 1jz, or the 5m for that matter, 2jz is a little over rated imo. Look into the aftermarket for the 5m and compare it to the other motors and make your decision that way. It's kinda like how everyone with a 240sx pees their pants over a SR20, when the KA motor has just as much potential. I think the MKII's are pretty neat, not my style, but they can make good power, but Supra's tend to have a heritage of straight line racing. Props for wanting to tackle the corners..

So I guess what I am asking is...is there any way to save that rotor housing in the picture? Thanks for taking me seriously, doesn't seem to happen very often.

Cool pictures, I find it interesting. Apparently not everyone feels the same..... Educate me a little..... Is there a whole machining process to fix that? Or do you just have to get new rotors and housings? If that was the case is it better just buy a whole new motor? I guess this is a stupid question to those who know a lot about these motors, but I'm curious.

Cool post, but yeah it's unfortunate that a lot of that is too far gone. Some of it has a little potential with deep pockets. It would be interesting to hear the story as to why he kept all of that and how he got his hands on all of that....

In high school we had to make an air powered something, or a catapult. We only had to go 30yds with air power and you could only use a bike pump to pressurize it. Needless to say, with experience we went 172 yds, into the apartments on the other side of our stadium. We still hold the school record, and we were the intro to physics class....not the AP calc-based physics class lol. This year the closest was 115ish and it was the younger brother of Josh, who was part of our group of 3.
