I have no serious input other than it sounds like fun and my schedule is uber flexible as far as weekends. Might be cool to park people chronologically based on when they joined the site or something.

Buy something that has a grease zerk on it so you can lube it. MOOG, available through O'Reilly. That is the major killer of suspension parts. A tech at our shop made it 209K in a LT1 V8 Impala Wagon on ALL STOCK front suspension parts, it was all grease-able which he did at every oil change.

Ask for Bill. They search multiple databases as well as owning a couple yards themselves.

For me now a days it's any 6 cylinder car with a good exhaust, and Subaru's. One other I can't lie about is an un-corked Rotary, damn they sound fantastic. Triumph TR6, 6 to 1 and a super trapp Porsche AIRCOOLED flat six with megaphones, or any sort of cat delete. I prefer the N/A sound, but the turbo's are fantastic as well. Supra's Toyota 3.5 V6 with custom manifolds and mufflers NSX with tubi's VR6 Plus add ITB's to some of them and they get even better. RWB Porsche Zork Tube 935 - which is basically a short exhaust pipe straight off the turbo. Not my cup of tea, I like a simple design and to me the car feels "over the top" as far as exterior appearance goes. Although I like the fronts of these newer Mustangs the back of the car just does nothing for me. Performance is impressive, but not enough to make up for it's visual appearance.

I would go with a smaller group, last time I "almost" went on a hocking cruise with a large group a MR2 landed on it's roof. Mainly due to experienced drivers leading in -experienced. Somebody on here may have been there....
