  1. If somone can't come until later in the week I inform them that if someone comes foreward with money before you do than it leaves. I can't take the risk of saying no to someone that is ready, and have you back out later. First come first serve, that's how I work. A buyer CANNOT expect me to hold it for a week, come talk to me when your ready.
  2. Otherwise I don't know what else there is that big in 5X114.3. I know STi's used that pattern at some point, but they would not be staggered like you want. I believe that the mustang used 5X114.3 with a weird off set as I seem to remember MR2 guys putting Cobra wheels on. Might be worth checking out factory Cobra say 2003 range wheels since they are that "mesh" look.
  3. Yeah, that I don't know. A guy that some here know, has the 350z wheels I posted on his S14 240sx and they look pretty good other than they seema little big in diameter for the car.
  4. Have you looked at Tanabe? That is what was on mine at one point. Very subtle looking and actually sorta quiet. I don't think they are very inexpensive though.
  5. To OP, have you looked at 350z wheels? I know those are 5X114.3 and at least one of the factory rim diameters is 18". Like these, although they may not be the style you are looking for... http://www.cuautosales.com/inventory/displayimage?image=25345
  6. I like it, it's a cheap way to get a different look. After going back up and looking at it I think it looks 10X better lol. To be honest I didn't really care for the wheels the way they were, I guess they looked to "modern" for the car. I think this looks much better. Kinda has a "under the radar" feel to it. As far as primer/flat paint goes, well, it's cheaper than a real paint job for sure and it probably was a better option than what WAS on the car. Not many third gens with great paint like Christians, or a couple others I have seen out recently. It would be cool to see it in person.
  7. Annnnnd bingo, what most of our customers say. We hardly see them anymore, because they have sold them off.
  8. meh everyone has their own experience.

Come on out ive wanted to meet you lol
  10. They are a mess, and will probably be difficult for you to find an acceptable one in a "cheap" price range. Always ask about timing belt service on 1.8T and 2.0. Horrible coolant leak issues, suspension problems, flex pipes which include catalyst replacement, the list goes on. On the other hand we do have 1 customer that has made 194K miles on her 1.8T Jetta, but she has not missed a single maintenance mark and is religious with her oil changes.
  11. I will make an appearance for a little bit, pending weather.

Roosters at Henderson and Reed at 8. See you all there, inside for the love of air conditioning. Couldn't force me to go downtown tonight if you tried. As far as "doing the same thing every weekend" goes. Doesn't drinking every weekend at a different location sound the same to anyone else as hanging out not drinking at a different location? Yes? Ok that's what I thought, moving on.
  13. I know guys lol. I removed the picture of the rear trim panels that were peeling because the owner stopped by and made what we would consider a permanent and not "back yard bob" fix. It is no longer an issue.

  15. Well, we have some lying around but they are everywhere lol. Also they would have been ordered for VW Buses which would not have had 45DCOE's.
  16. I will see if we have any lying around the shop tomorrow.
  17. Huh, I'll have a talk with Bill. Of course Porsche used webers more often than VW did.

  19. Stay away from V6. Oh saw V8, in this case have you driven one? I HATE the way they drive, lots of other better options in my book.

Yes, I instinctively want to ask where it is, although I have the internet at my finger tips. Sounds good to me, objections?
