  1. I will more than likely be there in the MR2 assuming it can find some time to fix the cluster fuck suspension. In the twisties? Sure.....not
  2. +1 for moisture in distributor. Issue with my MR2 sometimes due to the vents in the decklid draining onto the engine.
  3. Not trying to make fun of anyone on here Scott, you know I respect all aspects of racing/car community assuming they aren't total assholes. But come on....1.5 million? Jeez lol. I used to watch Nascar all the time with Dad, just got boring for me after discovering sources that I could watch the Touring car races live. Hell the only reason we found these is when we searched for cars for sale over $1 million during lunch today at work haha.
  4. Show how big of a fan you really are by getting your bid in on the hearse that transported Earnhardt to his final resting place! Here on Ebay for a totally reasonable price of $1.5 million. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-Hearse-Dale-Earnhardt-Sr-Last-Ride-Nascar-History-/160555225589?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2561d651f5 You can also buy this uber rare 1995 F250 for $1 million.....read the entire ad for the funnies. I love how the fact that it has no bondo is in the "bad" list lol. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-f250-/110658184268?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19c3bde44c
  5. What about those proximity alarms that chirps if you walk past the damn thing. The idea here is that people don't want to be noticed, so if possible park in plain sight of a road or something and near a light pole. Combine that with an alarm and good insurance and hopefully you won't have a problem. I'm with you on protecting what you have worked long and hard for....not all of us are made of money, nor do all of us dump every penny into our cars and not save for the future.
  6. Nice platform to build off of for a younger tech. I'll pass this along.
  7. Thanks man, got an email this morning.

    SOLD!

PM me info I'll come get them. I'll also shoot you a PM now.
  9. They offered one of our customers 7K-ish for a '05 SRT neon that had the absolute piss run out of it with 45K miles. It was burnt orange with black stripes, they ended up trading it in to them since they couldn't sell it outright. Couple people on here probably remember seeing it for sale. Yes, I know she wanted to much, but her dumbass nephew didn't make payments and it got dumped on her.
  10. Does Zerolift even exist anymore? I mean I have emailed them, called and left a message during "open" hours, never heard back. I have posted on ohiodrifting in their section and still haven't heard a damn thing from them. I would recommend them as well due to what I have seen on OD, but if you can't respond to a quote inquiry that really pisses me off. I can understand a couple days, but it's been 2 weeks....
  11. You can't have the car inspected by another shop before you buy. If you buy it and it has a melt down they will return your money within like 2-3 days or something, but you have to spend that money they give back to you on another car on their lot. Way over priced from what I have seen. We looked at an IS300 that was just ridiculous. With that being said, we have some customers that have purchased vehicles through carmax and from what we have seen they are pretty nice cars for the most part.

    SOLD!

Can't believe these are still here, are they hollowed out or anything?
  13. Argueing about religion on this board is like argueing which car is the best. Absolutely no point as everyone is right.....or so they think so because everyones opinion is different.
  14. I've got 4 205/45's if you want to go for that stretched look lol.
  15. Welcome, I can say that here since I have been here long enough lol. I was talking to you over on COS the other week, same s/n. I really want to see your car in person sometime, hope to see you out this spring/summer!
  16. It's the EVAP vent tube, or fuel tank vent tube if I heard correctly over the radio. Sort of a no brainer, since it's under the car, but they have had 2 fuel tanks crack due to the webs blocking the vent thus building too much pressure in the tank. I think, I'm sure some know it all will tear me apart on this, but thats the gist of it.
  17. What do you expect when your introduction post is "hey" ????
  18. I like how you cut out the rest of my post to make your point valid. If you had read past where you quoted me you would have found the above point you made invalid. You them recommend to the OP to sit in both the cars. I also recommend doing so as I clearly stated that the TL and the V6 accord offer essentially the same dricing experience in my book. After driving so many different cars on a daily basis, most of them feel the same to me and every once and awhile a few come along that offer a unique experience, of which neither of the above cars offer in comparison. Selective posting is no different from selective hearing. I was incedibly dissappointed with the TL, I felt you got the same bang for your buck performance wise in the V6 accord. The accord plants you in the seat harder on acceleration, but lacks in the corners as it FEELS like the TL has stiffer dampners than the Accord. That is an observation from my body in the car, not reading what a sheet of paper, or my owners manual says Vin Diesel....
  19. :bangbang: Meh, it's CR. Like everyone else says, can't take anything seriously. You just pick out the classy people vs. the people who won't have a lifelong successful relationship.
  20. Civic = Timing chain TL = Timing Belt....IIRC Well...the TL is pretty much an accord from about 90% of peoples eye balls. Sure the chassis may be different, but if you get an accord V6 is damn near the same driving experience. Sit in denial all you want, it's true of most cross companies.
  21. Well, my plans got changed due to dad buying the Camaro. Of course I don't know if it will be done in time, plus with buying a house this year I am sort of limited as to what I want to spend. MR2- Needs to sit on the corner scales and alignment rack for a day Really needs the rear coilovers rebuilt Needs tires.....AGAIN Now I have this legacy gt wagon that I think may do well autocrossing. It will get the following for sure. -Tires -Timing belt -Front brakes? I am debating running it over at Midohio for one of their track days.
