  1. I'm not driving out to Gahanna. I will if I'm out voted though I suppose lol. I vote Polaris since I hauled my ass out to Reynoldsburg last night to have nobody show, I'm whining...I know.
  2. Drove by in the F150 looked like a good turnout. We had 2400# of scrap metal in a 1/2 ton lol.
  3. This is so refreshing to read from someone other than my parents. Nice to know that there are some other people with the same mentality when it comes to financing left in this world of credit.
  4. Midstate may be able to help you out on the cheap if you haven't called already. They do used parts still even though Bill bought the business back.
  5. GAH, ok we'll be over in something I guess lol.
  6. I am in Scott, way to be on the ball for tomorrow lol.
  7. NO BOB SAGET Then you can get there and wait for 2 hours for a table lol. Wholly Joes, just to toss another place in the mix. I know Doc wants Red Robin. I say everyone just starts cruising up and down Polaris and whomever everyone lines up behind leads the way to somewhere. QSL is more expensive than all the money I have put in the MR2.
  8. My understanding was that the Democrats haven't even proposed a budget, but would rather argue over the one proposed by the Republicans. This shit happened during the Clinton administration as well. Pretty easy for the Dems to sit there and bitch about a budget they didn't propose, and not propose one themselves to have a bipartisan blame. Yeah blame it on the Republicans, but at least they are doing something. Regardless I agree with the guys/gals in service, they should be the first paid over anyone.

Long story, probably not for in here. But a guy that has a '86 Jetta at the shop mentioned that he had some "other cars" at his house. He asked if I would be interested in taking a look at what all he had. They have been sitting for 15+ years on jackstands and would need a crew to get them out of the garage (big garage). Also had a 1st. gen Scirocco, a Honda "Wagovan", '71 super beetle, and a goldwing. The 7's had almost no rust on the chassis, I did not pull the cubby/bins behind the seats. The '79 had 54K, non original engine, the other 120K, both manual, interiors damn near perfect. He wants about a grand apiece.
  10. Shaping up to be a good deal for someone who wants a toy.
  11. +1, these guys do the "factory tint" for MAG. All sorts of exotics/fun stuff down there usually. They also do Police cars for various departments, couple from Westerville down there today actually.
  12. I've always used KBB with success. Although as mentioned above the market will decide what the true value is of the car. Sometimes you just have to wait for the right person to come along to get what you want for it.
  13. I believe the first post needs to be edited as we aren't using dlbracing anymore for registrations......
  14. My Dad may want to sell his '91 F150, 120K miles, ext. cab, 302, automatic, a/c, close to upper arlington lol etc... He was tossing around $2400, he needs to find a replacement first and I know he is on the hunt as we speak. Don't know how much longer it will be until we find "the one".
  15. Nice intro! Love the 3rd gen camaro, sorta have a soft spot for them even though I'm a import guy most of the time.
  16. Why in the world would you swap an 8V in? How could you decide that the screaming 16V doesn't cut it lol? That would probably fix your straight line grunt issue! Welcome, nice rides. I love the GTI, looks really clean for that era.
  17. Did you pull the covers and do a visual inspection? These cars are notorious for lines drying out and cracking. Typically a visual inspection will yield a result, we don't smoke those cars really ever. We see a ton of them......also check the air pump lines (plastic).

    SOLD

Neato, whats ironic is that I just looked at a '79 and '83 combo last weekend and offered the same price. I had to double take on these lol. Good luck with sale, seems to be very fairly priced. I'll be curious to see how fast these move.
  19. Lol, I'm all over that idea! I suppose I should re-phrase, it depends on how much work you want to do, or how much you want to pay up front for someone elses work.
  20. Haha, there was some thought put into this. Annnnnd it got killed as usual.
  21. Lol, what is really funny is the other night I was over there and I was like "why the hell do we go to hooters when there is a city bbq right here?" With that being said Erica and I will be in Port Clinton that evening, I will be at the dyno day though before we leave.
  22. Bunch of haters in here lol. I'm sure I will eat saying this, but I would rather have a NSX over an Elise. Now I am assuming that the modified MKIII MR2 I drove is anywhere in the neighborhood of a stock Elise, I know FOR SURE I would like the NSX better. It has close to the same torque curve as a 70's, 80's 911, just more modern. Don't get me wrong I would take the older 911 any day over the NSX, but the NSX is what I am shooting for "feel wise" with going V6 in the MR2.
