  1. Oh, and totally random that you guys are looking at one of these lol. Just thought I would mention that. They are a bunch of fun and a definite head turner thats for sure, most people have no idea what the hell it is.
  2. As mentioned lots of electrical issues. Tough to get your hands on information to service/diagnose it. Valve covers like to leak which requires removing the ridiculous intake manifold. The Automatic transmissions can get pretty sketchy on higher mileage ones. Hopefully you managed to find one with a manual. Oh and as a fun fact if the starter fails you have to drop the downpipes and most of the exhaust to get it out lol. Otherwise they are neat we serviced one for years here up until the transmission gave out around 150K and they got rid of it. It was a CI as well, didn't they have a CSL or something as well?
  3. Are the MR2 wheels the 14" wheels or the 15" wheels?
  4. +1, they make me sigh and shake my head

    Used Oil

The Northend Wrench INC. 4330 Indianola Avenue Columbus, 43214 I work here^^ Open 7am to 6pm M-F, I'm, there during almost all business hours. Bring it on down we burn it for heat.....we have 2 250gal containers and about 8 55 gallon drums we store it in. Plus in the summer we empty 1 of the 250 gallon containers due to running out of space lol. We have guys that stop down here with their 10 gallon containers all the time. We also get a bunch of cooking grease from school cafeterias if anyone needs it for their diesel....
  6. You think Paris Hilton is hot??? I mean come on.....terrible come back lol.
  7. Probably, Jeff hasn't said anything about it yet here at the shop.
  8. Dunno the "official" I count it as who takes the proceeds home. Of course my understanding was that the MBCCA doesn't pay for lot useage due to being close to the OSU "sports car club"???
  9. 49th due to living at home at this time
  10. Correct, MBCCA is the event organizer. Although the Porsche club has a majority of the entrees, PCA members are designing the course, and providing the equipment.
  11. Just passing through, but we have Snap-On's jack and have used it in a shop setting for about 5+ years and it doesn't leak....have to lube it once and awhile, but it has grease zerks to make it easy. It still drags you across the shop if you get it going to fast and try to stop it rolling lol. Obviously due to being associated with the Snap-On name I'm sure it is absurdly expensive.
  12. Oh... Alrighty then. Did I mention that I really like this car? Oh, and Erik, yes I spell my name correctly.
  13. If it's so bad then don't use it. Like my Dad tells people, "The best the about Craigslist is that it's free, the worst thing about Craigslist is that it's free." So, enjoy that it's free. At least you don't have to pay fees like Ebay.
  14. Agreed, ironically Joe (Mojoe) introduced that movie to me lol.
  15. To OP, that is sweet. Love that era of Audi, nice find! Brian can you say something positive about something for once? I mean your comments to anything are so typical it isn't even funny. We know you don't like anything other than F-Bodies with no modifications and SVX's. We get it, if you can't appreciate the rarity of this car then STFU, or do a little research on the car and it's race history.
  16. Dodge = shitastic gas mileage. I woould rather have the exploder over the navigator. That's personal preference due to the Explorer having cheaper parts, and less electronic BS. Just my .02, tough to say which is the best they are all at mileages where repair bills get big and the owners get rid of them to get something new.
  17. Ok, besides stating the obvious about this car. How freaking awesome would it be to run around in this thing? It has air conditioning, back up sensors, syncronized gear box, Air cooled TTPorsche engine probably from say a 993 GT2 one of my favorite drivetrains, other than the n/a version found in the 993. I love how they integrated the turn signals into the front lenses, I really enjoy the idea of "resto-mod". Don't get me wrong I love the original versions, but it never hurts to answer the question of what a car would be like with more modern technology. This is so cool, so much history from this era of race cars. http://www.elmscollection.com/view.php?id=060411022938&title=1986%20Switec%20-%20Porsche%20962C
