  1. I don't doubt that mine went bad due to cheapo coilovers to begin with (K sport) and driving constantly on Ohio's finest roads all the time.
  2. Great for Europeans. Koni's and TRD springs are the "hot" choice for a non coil over set up in the MR2 world. There are people with far more knowledge than me on suspension set-ups in here already, so I will refrain from technical advice. Excellent point on the corner weighting which I am looking forward to doing this winter with mine. If it were me I would NOT get used coilovers, I did and regret it since mine need rebuilt. Of course I bought an entire new car to pull them off of, but I feel like down the road I will be changing the set-up and selling mine for cheapo. I feel like Tein is WAY over rated, it's like Monster they just have their name in everything and that is how they are known.
  3. My car doesn't go in straight lines?
  4. How 80% of certain people bought their driver's license and don't carry car insurance.
  5. Bah, if I didn't have a fleet of cars to finish I would go.
  6. +1 for Rushman we sublet our transmission work to those guys and they do a GREAT job. Full description of what they found when tearing it apart and sometimes they bring us the box of old parts to look at. We have sent about a dozen to them in the 4-5 months. They use factory fluids, not just factory "approved" fluids and pay attention to TSB updates. I would stay AWAY from A-team unless you want to take it back to them about a month after you have it done. What a headache.

  15. Hey, I think you swung by the shop the other day (Northend Wrench) to see Mark about a trophy or something? Maybe? Anywho welcome the the madness.
  16. 4runner is about to rust in half with the rear tailgate looking like that. Just sayin' HOT '82 Fox....reasonable price. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2007596542.html What was REALLY crazy was a gentleman on Ohio Drifting had a S14 SR20 powered car, and a S13 Vert also SR20 powered for sale for $5500 for the pair. Both are clean as shit, the vert was damn near all there needs nothing and the S14 needed a turbo.
  17. Cavalier drums have got to be cheap....I bought calipers for a cavalier for like $20 and they were the new Eclipse calipers from Napa which is their premium line. I would replace the drum just to not deal with turning old ones but thats me, it's not that it's unsafe or anything.
  18. paula deen and mudflaps cannot be in a thread alone, they come in a pair EVERY TIME and it brings the lolz
  19. Good way to kill yourself, impact that large to a spine is serious business. People don't get how much force those things have. Still pretty funny to see darwin giving people a second chance though LOL.
  20. Cool display of power, shitty display of purposely destroying really nice cars.
  21. Damnit I hate it when I forget to sign her out lol.
  22. Remember this guy? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85237 Well you guys made him sell it, interested? I mean he fixed the bumper... http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2004049256.html
  23. Look at book value first, then browse what other people are "trying" to sell theirs for. Remember that if you see someone asking 15K it does not mean that they are going to get that. Price it in with the majority. Modded cars are tough to price, it's worth what someone is willing to pay since they know it has been run hard, plus in my eyes it is tough to trust someone elses work. Obviously I know you, but to someone else they have got to trust the work was done right.
  24. Ok ondemand is saying .003" (.08mm) over 6" span of head, or .006" (.15mm) over entire span of head requires resurfacing. It did not specify a number for the head being "too warped". Although I suppose I would have to find a cylinder head thickness limit and measure that way. Alldata (not pro) reads in a column "spec" .03mm .0012" AND column "limit" .06mm .0024" which I read as "spec" being if you are at or under slap a new gasket on and go and "limit" being machine work is necessary.
