    Need a Haircut?

Not as bad as you think since they regularly have wedding parties schedule appointments there to have their hair done right before their big day....and men's hair cuts are like the oil change of the car industry when it comes to hair cuts....
  2. Typically clone means the chassis could have originally been a V6 chassis that they made look like a V8 chassis with an engine/trans swap. Or it could be a '67 replicating a '68, but I don't think that is the case here as it appears to have '67 head lights/grill. Could mean any number of things, just depends on what the car was originally and what the owner intends for it to look like.
  3. Ok how about a "Best Cars for the middle class" list. Jeeez, I don't care what anyone says at this point I haven't been impressed with Jeep at all in the snow.
  4. Putting motor back into a Forester in the AM.

    Favorite rootbeer?

BJ's Brewhouse on Polaris, their in house root beer is my favorite. Followed by pretty much most of what else has already been said.
  6. Stinks, but you are ok. Good to hear they are going to help you out with some of the accessories.
  7. I wish I had the space, I would do this ASAP not a bad job at all...

    Circleville!

Well, if it wasn't cold there is an excellent karting track behind the Sunoco on 23 not exactly sure what the addy is I just hit 23S and you run into it. You can rent karts to use, we take the shifter karts. Again, it's a little cold for that.
  9. I am driving my 4th Subaru this winter, love them to death. I haven't owned one for very long for personal reasons of buying/selling cars, but I will ALWAYS make sure to have one for when the snow flies. I own 2 Impreza Wagons right now and 1 I believe I will end up keeping for some time once I get a motor in it. Gotta say it, but having driven so many cars here at the shop in the snow nothing compares to a Subaru in the snow. Sorry Quattro and Jeep guys.....
  10. My girlfriend Erica has, her name is Autoxqt, if you look on her profile pictures there is a red '07 Civic we had the wheels done by wheel medic in black. Did an excellent job and have held up very well for the last 2 years.
  11. We sent 2 BMW wheels down to them this week to be straightened, excellent service over there for sure.
  12. Welcome, clean Supra. Used to have an '87T
  13. Wow, just read this, glad to see that you are ok, sounds like it got scary for a few minutes. Everything happens for a reason though I suppose, at least just the car got tore up.

  15. Timing belt due at 90K, 105K, or 120K. It varies in the years, don't ask why. They are a non interference motor. Oil leaks at valve cover (nuts loosen) and distributor o-ring. Front bearing plates
  16. Should be the same owner now though IIRC, we haven't dealt with them in about a year and a half now.
  17. Yeah, our family has personally used them in the past for building transmissions for our tow vehicles and they were great back when they were called A-Transmission Masters and being run by the original owner. One of the managers left before the owner died and started a company called A-Team Transmissions, then shortly after, the owner of A-Trans Masters died and he then bought out the company and now has 2 locations called A-Team. Quality has gone way downhill and the rest is history. Another shop down the street recommended Rushman to us and we couldn't be happier with them at this point.
  18. NEVER take your car there again, we used to sublet work to them from the shop we are talking 3-4 a month and EVERYONE of them had to go back because they fucked up. We now use RUSHMAN 614-891-0707 they give you a full write up on what they found when they tear the transmission apart and usually show you the bad parts and they have a great warranty. We have sent about a dozen over there + and have not had a single problem yet. Great crew over there. Again I cannot stress to not use A-Team, they have cheap labor pull the trans, then a good tech rebuild it then cheap labor to re-install and it shows. I used to recomment them to everyone, but ever since the original owner of the company passed away about 3 years ago it has just gone to hell.
  19. Could be 1 of about a million things on an A4. Look for the pink crusties, that will show you where. Or just take it in and let them deal with it. Good luck. OH and to answer your question, yes, too common in fact. One of the things you look for on a VAG car when it comes in for service specifically.
  20. Tirerack.com is tough to beat price wise on tires but, then you need to find somewhere to install them/ship them to.
  21. Damn sounds like a mighty car....:)
  22. 1989 Ford Ranger: 2.3L, 5sp, no air, no p/s, crank windows paid $200 for it smashed in the rear from a hit and run. Dad and I put a bed/bumper/hitch/wheels on it sold it for about 1K. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/ranger.jpg 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT: 2.8L, auto, put a intake and changed the head light housings so I could put blue bulbs in. My Grandmother gave me the car. 87GT aka Trowa now owns the car on here and looks just about how it did when I had it. LOL factor with me in front of it with afro...sort of http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/P1030115.jpg Another http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/P1020269.jpg Third car is the white MR2 in the signature..just because.
  23. How crappy was the weather on that run? Not that it mattered, and yes, you are an addict. Like I should talk since I have 3 of 1 manufacturer as well.
