  1. I'll re-verify, we have both mitchell and alldata. Now that I have an idea of where to look I'll compare with my own eyes and report back for general knowledge of those involved here.
  2. Yes I forget who makes it, but it is actually made specifically for checking block decks and heads. I want to say Central or something?
  3. S60R for the oddity of it, but you can't go wrong with a Legacy. Acura's are over priced and therefore over rated. And the Fusion is well....a Ford. Plus we have been looking at S60R's for Erica when she sells the civic.
  4. That's cool as hell. I would do it, that looks like a hoot.
  5. Well it's warped less than 178 thousandths. The frickin' feeler gauge set I've got sucks I suppose I could have found another set around the shop, but 178 thousandths won't even start to slide underneath my straight edge which is far enough away from 240 that I feel comfortable.
  6. N/A, fresh paint, new enkei's and Hankook tires, apex springs, aftermarket wheel. No P/S, 5 speed, 150K+ miles, intake, stock exhaust. There should be a thread that is locked in the corral which is my original ad.
  7. Damn couldn't find it for the life of me on there. I hate it when they change shit around. Thanks.
  8. Yeah I wasn't a HUGE fan towing with a manual, although I think if I had a diesel I would rather have a manual while towing. I like having control over what the transmission is doing.
  9. Resource? I gotta ask, but thanks for the info...I'll take it.
  10. Not cool if this was put here while he was passed out....I would be livid. Especially with all he has gone through with that car.
  11. 2002 Hyundai Elantra GLS 2.0 DOHC Cannot find a specification for resurfacing the head. The head is warped, looking for the spec that tells me how warped it can be before it's just toast/how much material you can remove?
  12. I can't help you there, I'm not old school enough for the manual gauges. I'm spoiled with automated stuff, there are too many variables with a manual gauge system for me to guess.
  13. I agree, again dumbing down society.
  14. Erica is about ready, we are going to grab a bite to eat real quick then head on over. See you all there.
  15. The green color is just leak detection dye. Yes, it already is filled for you. Yes, it's ok to drive with that amount of oil with no freon. Think about it, if the oil is there to lubricate the inside of the compressor, if there is no freon the compressor will not run. The only thing that will be spinning is the pulley, not the internals of the compressor. The oil you put in does not lubricate the external pulley.
  16. I can't wait until this new paralell parking feature fails on new cars. I don't know how they have set the car up in case it fails, but if not done correctly the lolz will insue. I can't think of what it will cost to fix it if it does as well. Something most people don't consider when buying new cars.
  17. Your selling it already for a HONDUH? Man, I guess some things just won't change lol.
  18. DAMN, wait til she see's this. You better hide lol. I thought those cones were autocross cones? Whoops/ Seriously though, we didn't make it BJ's was on a 2 hour and 40 minute wait....
  19. 1. The "new" bolts are only meant to hold on those caps 2. You need to transfer the stud 3. You need to read the instructions, but typically the compressor does not come with oil in it, just assembly oil. 4. Remember there are several different types of PAG oil 5. General rule of thumb is to drain the old compressor, if you get more than 1 ounce out, add in what came out into the new one. If you get less than 1 ounce, add 1 ounce. Typically you would look on a service program to find out a factory specified amount when changing any A/C component. Stud extraction..... 1 way is to PB blast it, put 2 nuts on it if possible and turn the lower nut to loosen. It will press against the top one and lock them together. I would avoid using vise grips, it usually tears up the threads Worse case, you need to go to the hardware store and get new studs, OR get a long enough bolt and use a bolt instead of a stud. Hope that helps a little.
  20. Hell of a price considering I have NEVER seen one of these in a 5 speed. GLWS!
  21. OH!....THANK YOU lol. If you see a white MR2 with a hot chick in the passenger seat throw something at it. JK
  22. OMG so far Are you actually going to be there this time? Either way I'm going to Polaris for food lol.
  23. I guess I'll be over in a little bit. Hyundai is as far as it's gonna get for today. Just need to clean up and I'll be along.
