  1. Thanks for the offer. We just got done looking at watermark and they were the same price as the quarry but not as nice like you said. The gf is swaying toward the quarry between the 2. I would love to rent a house in grove city. That would be ideal for me but I'm having a hard time convincing the g/f. She is in the 30s denial phase thinking shes fresh out of college
  2. Explain that to her. She doesn't want to drive from canal and she doesnt want to pay for taxi's downtown every weekend The cost is high for what you get but you are paying for location. I personally hate the area, its so busy. If it was up to me I would live out in Canal/Pickerington to be away from it all I made an appointment to check out Watermark. Its a little less expensive but not sure how it compares to Quarry
  3. Our lease is up soon and we are looking for a new place to rent. Open to a house, apartment, townhouse... I work in Groveport and she works for OSU. We would like a place in between but its hard to find a spot that isnt too rough. Our only requirements are 2 bedroom and a garage. Open to a broad range of price. Right now we are looking at The Quarry but after tacking on a garage the price is getting up there. Does anyone have any other suggestions? She prefers being closer to downtown for things to do but I'd rather be out away from it all. Anyone?
  4. Thats the kind of intake I need for mine! Sounds nice
  5. Thanks, thats what I was going for
  6. Yeah, it's sitting on Eibach springs. As for the MT82, I believe there is a tsb out to change the fluid and add an additive to the mix. I heard the 13-14's have a different fliud than the 11-12's. Also the shifter on these is a remote unit mounted through linkages kind of like a fwd manual car. Upgrading the shifter and bracket along with a trans mount insert has seemed to clear up alot of notchy shifting and gear lock out issues. There is an internal wear issue of some plastic fork pads that break or wear prematurely. There are brass pad upgrades available for this too
  7. I just picked up a 2013 Mustang GT for a driver. I've been following these cars for a while and am impressed with the new Coyote engine. I was hesitant on the MT82 transmission but after some research and multiple test drives I decided to go with the manual. It took me a few months of shopping and flip flopping to finally pull the trigger on this one: http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k606/Bark94/Mustang1.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k606/Bark94/Mustang2.jpg Deep Impact Blue 6-speed manual Brembo brake package 3.73 rear end It's "CR stock" right now and the only thing I really plan to do is at a decent shifter. I was set on black for the color but the blue grew on me and I decided to go with the blue instead and I'm glad I did. I'll get some better pic's after a wash and good polish.
  8. I will definitely check into flying in if I make a purchase. I prefer to inspect the car before handing over a check anyways. If I can make it back in a days drive it may not be too bad.
  9. Take a rental car there and drive the new one back! Cheaper than a plane ticket but up to 24 hours of driving! I've never done a road trip
  10. I think of Jason Statham every time I use the word transporter but I'd like to receive my car in one piece so he's out.
  11. I dont have a specific car but most of the cars I have been locating are in the southern states (Florida, Georgia, Alabama...) I am tempted to fly down so I can inspect the car thoroughly before committing to buy it but it would also be a whole day of driving to bring the car back. I guess it depends on exactly where the car is as to whether or not I fly. Thanks for the transport reviews, keep them coming. I expected all the bad along with the good. I hire commercial transporters everyday and its a nightmare sometimes
  12. I'm looking to purchase a car and I will more than likely have to have it transported to me. I'm looking at hiring a personal transporter to get the car for me but I'm looking for someone reputable and fair on price. I can hire one through the broker I use for work but they sub contract the job out, over charge for a single unit, and most of their sub-hires barely speak English and have little regard for the vehicle they transport. So I'm looking for suggestions from you guys. I'm sure a number of you have had your cars shipped in and have had both good and bad results. I am all ears for your referrals and also who to stay away from.
  13. Anyone seen some cci velocitor? Its one of the few hp's that my 10/22 groups well
  14. I buy cars for a living. It's nice to finally look forward to going to work and getting paid doing what I love to do all day...Look at cars! I have my BS in Architecture from OSU and shortly after graduation I realized I didn't want to work in the field. For my current job any 4 year degree would have gotten me in the door. I might have enjoyed my time more in college with an easier degree but I can't complain.
  15. Im a big fan of yellowbullet.com for some big builds out there and of course I'm a big advocate of supraforums.com. Supra forums has alot of quick cars on it, not just supras and it also has a good subforum for all the tx2k stuff if you're into that

  17. I'm more concerned with the liberal bag limits. At least they are going away from the bonus antlerless tag in some counties
  18. Agree with crossbow. It won't be back after that. Its about mating season for them so if you have one that's comfortable around your place you'll soon have more
