    just look!

I love the smell of roasted Potenzas in the evening; it smells like victory!
  2. ...and MCIR is open tonight. They have awards, etc, so I don't know how many runs a guy could get in. Powder Puff too, might be some cute females on hand. http://www.mcir.net/Schedule.htm
  3. It's a bit of a drive for many, but Milan is open Oct 25, 27, 28, 29, and Nov 11. http://milandragway.com/2006/2006.html A much longer drive, but US 131 is open tonight & on the 28th. A really sticky track, but there are others much closer. Still a favorite of mine. http://www.us131motorsportspark.com/schedule.asp

    College Jokes

    :funny:  Good ones there!
  6. Looks like "Project Tempo" would be going RWD, with a 6-speed, full cage & narrowed 9-inch! :woowoo:
  7. Better yet, we'll put up a series of Walmarts, flood their country with white trash, & bleed their economy dry. They'll beg us to invade.
  8. Econoline? My first guess was an Aerostar. Flamin' Fords ftl. With Tempos (and most of their product line), it was the ignition switch. With Aerostars, a fuel line. With Pintos & Mustang IIs, the infamous drop-in fuel tank. When I roll in the S/C'd Tempo, I don't leave home without a bag of marshmallows. Actually, I have installed the 'revised' ignition switch, but it's a 19-year-old car, so I take nothing for granted. I've even installed a battery switch, just in case...
  9. '70 Hurst/Olds W30. '80s - ZR-1 'Vette. '90s - McLaren F If I were to choose one from the '60s, it'd be a tie - Dodge Hemi Dart or split-window Stingray.
  10. I think you'll need one of those stainless flex connectors, as seen on some car exhaust systems. That's a lot of heat for silicone, I think it'd toast it in no time. I could be wrong, of course, but I've never seen a silicone coupler on an exhaust system. I have seen heat-damaged ones (long-term use) that were connecting intercooler piping.
  11. Pics would be nice, of course. But, done, regardless.
  12. It must be OK to be gay...millions of riced-out Civic owners couldn't be wrong...
  13. I liked Death Tunnel, but the one that really got me was "Spooked; The Ghosts Of Waverly Hills", a documentary. It includes sounds & video caught while filming "Death Tunnel", and some interesting history on the place. It can be bought online, or found on torrent sites as well. FYI, they DO have a 'Haunted House" in October. I visited the place last summer, that building put on a helluva show! Shadows, cold spots, etc.
  14. I've heard good things about the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, but Louisville, KY is a bit of a drive. Went on a regular tour of the place, that building seems to have an 'energy' all its own. Lots to be seen & felt, like sudden temp changes, etc.
  15. No, Nigerian. An obscure member of their royal family traded it for 3 yaks, 5 llamas, and a wildabeest.
  16. Closest thing I've done on the GTP was painting the grilles silver. It looked good on a white car, but the 'shiny' look doesn't last long. As for the Tempo, I have blue "Eaton Inside" (look like the Intel logo) stickers on each rear quarter glass. I put 'em on AFTER the blower install, so it wasn't "false advertising". They're blue (like the car), so they're somewhat 'low key', not really visible until you're next to me at the lights hehe
  17. Some Holden product would be cross-badged as both a Mustang, a Camaro, and a GTO. GM would keep their Cobalt line, but it'd be renamed the Fairmont. The GM W-bodys (Grand Prix, Monte, Skylark) would get a new sibling; Thunderbird! The F-series would be a goner. The new conglomerate's entire light truck line (even the lame, low-end ones) would be designated "Hummer", and would be cosmetically "ugly-fied" to fit the part. The flagship marque would be their Cadillincoln brand. Their top-end model would be the X-Cre-Ment, a rebadged Jaguar X-Type with a subwoofer box in place of the rear seat. Nevermind, the world would indeed end.
  18. Mr. Sigman, you are THE MAN!!! It's ordered, hopefully the number I had was accurate; I believe it to be. Just under $50 shipped, an expensive little bastard. Too bad, I'd have bought several if they were around half that. But with what I've spent so far, I didn't want to button this motor up with the worn, brittle one I have. Before long, I'd have been pulling the pan & digging the remnants out of my oil pickup... Thanks to everyone for the helpful responses. As for the guide, I'm still gonna work on finding an easily-modded replacement that is more readily available, like maybe the Quad-4 parts mentioned above. I created an account there; that place might be a gold mine. I'll certainly send others in their direction, the guys over at tempotopaz.com should find them useful.
  19. Thanks for the link to Green Sales Co. No luck on getting the part, but I did get a number. The number I got was E43Z 6284A Still hoping to find one, otherwise I'll have whip some MacGuyver mojo on this biatch.
