  1. Welcome, any pics of your Legacy?
  2. Yep after my last few experiences trying to sell old/cheap cars on craigslist, I'm done for a while. I've had a lot of good luck selling cars thru craigslist, but not lately. Too many half wit mouth breathers nowadays, too lazy/stupid to even read the ad. Trying to sell my Caprice was the worst, the amount of BS and ridiculous trade offers I got from Whitehall trash was unreal. Nobody cared that it was a 9C1 with an LT1 and all the SS goodies, they just wanted a "bubble caprice" so they could put 26's on it with a "system" and paint it "cocaine white"......OK whatever, a fool's money spends the same as anyone else so I'll take whatever buyer I can get, but just constantly dealing with tire kicking dipshit after dipshit, no thanks.
  3. WHo cares if it's a giant wall of text, I love hearing car stories like this
  4. Sounds nicer than what I need, but might be interested, how much does he want? Definitely nicer (and bigger) than what I need, but thank you anyway
  5. Looking for 6 x 5.5 wheels for my old '89 pickup. OEM Chevy/GMC wheels from a '99+ truck (16's or 17's preferred) or maybe something aftermarket? Open to about anything, but not something lame like Rockstar bro truck pavement princess bullshit or cheezy Tire Discounters fugly ass China wheels. Thinking more of an old school look (Mickey Thompson Classics, etc) LMK what you have
  6. When I bought my S10 the air conditioning didn't work. Surprisingly, I added two cans of refrigerant (the regular stuff.....not the AC Pro with the "stop leak" additive BS) and it worked great for several months. I did the same thing this spring and it works flawless again. $15 a year to recharge it myself FTW. That being said, I would still recommend taking it to a shop and having it properly fixed. If you need to recharge it, something's not right, there's gotta be a leak. Years ago when GearhedRob was a sponsor here, I had him rebuild the rear end on my Camaro. I mentioned something about my AC not working, and he sent me to his brother's shop, called Hand Automotive or something. I told the guy to put the dye in when he charged it so we could find where the leak was. He didn't. I found that out a few days later when the AC quit again.
  7. Exactly. What's it worth right now as it sits.....maybe $1500 if some desperate fanboy falls in love with it? Seller would be better off parting it out
  8. Apparently doesn't come with wheels either He says he's firm at 8k.....lol ok buddy, good luck with that
  9. I got this too and figured it was just some dipshit who worked for the company/website and they were trying to get easy business by scamming idiots. They said their mechanic told them they needed a report from that specific site. I told them to stick the report up their ass, and that their "mechanic" should come look at the car himself. These scammers always have such dumbass names too. The one I got was "Emmy Bowen" or something like that
  10. You can get a good quality vinyl double hung window for around $200 give or take (depending on size) per window. Definitely shop around
  11. I feel the same way when it comes to forums, but fb groups are different IMO. It's basically just a buy/sell/trade group for the most part anyway. There's always people there looking for cheap trucks. If you have it listed on craigslist, let me know if you want me to share the link on the fb group
  12. I've been going to this show for years. Mike Mitchell is an awesome guy and he knows how to put together a good show
  13. You should join the facebook group "Ohio Square Body Chevy's" and list it on there. It'll probably sell in a day
  14. Hell yeah. Right now this is easily the best option. Once we figure shit out I'll probably be in touch
  15. Yes! Very good point. I like the way you think. Hell, all we really want is a building we can reserve for an evening to meet up and hang out. Definitely nothing formal or fancy. More like a backyard picnic/bbq than your typical reception honestly. We'll bring our own booze, and probably have City BBQ or something like that cater.
  16. bump for a good dude and a nice truck
  17. Good deal. I have this exact phone and love it
  18. SOLD No need to lock the thread though. I just want to take a moment to say fuck columbus craigslist and all the half wit douchebags it attracts. I put it on Dayton craigslist yesterday afternoon and had 6 legit calls in a 4 hour span. First guy that called agreed to come this morning, shows up when he said he would, buys the truck without any hiccups. Dayton craigslist ftw Side note, I'm heading to Indian Lake to buy the S10's replacement
  19. As the title states, I would like to find a park or something with a shelter/lodge to have our wedding reception this coming September. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just needs a bathroom and a kitchen basically. Also, alcohol needs to be permitted. Seems like every park I've searched all say booze is forbidden. Anywhere in the Columbus area is fine, preferably north or west side but that doesn't matter much. Suggestions, please!

  21. I dont think anyone on here is interested, but if you are, make me a reasonable offer ASAP. I found an old rusty POS truck that I want to buy, but I need to sell this nice clean S10 first I'm putting stock sized tires on it and removing the tonneau cover. Now $1700
  22. Congrats, I'll smoke a cigar in your family's honor
