  1. How did the Intense/ZZP thing get started?

I remember Intense had a horrible reputation on ClubGP. Most of the Intense guys stuck to their own forum, 3800Pro. My red car had an Intense reflashed PCM, and the ClubGP folks told me I was going to chip a piston in no time. Which is funny considering the car was pretty close to stock, and the Aeroforce gauge showed little to no KR whenever I did a WOT run.

  2. ClubGP was the main forum, and GOClubGP was the "Greater Ohio" chapter.

One thing that sticks out to me about GOClubGP, I remember one of the members on there (she may have been an admin/moderator) had a pristine Grand Prix she tried selling for some ridiculous price back around 2008 or so. She said the oil was changed every 3,000 miles religiously. Well she wasn't kidding. She said one time she was driving home from a long trip and realized she was right at 3,000 miles since her last oil change. So she pulled over and called AAA and had the car towed home.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. I think you would potentially risk more damage from a tow truck than you would going over your 3k interval. Like the oil will instantly break down at 3,001 miles and kill the motor.

  3. Be prepared, it has to be a contractor off their dot licensed list and it is not cheap. Hopefully Steve's guy has time to take care of you.

Which side of town are you on?

Edit:. Just saw your location is Hilliard.

Unfortunately, Gunther Plumbing isn't certified to do water line stuff, but Travis recommended someone who can help (Kapp Excavating) soooo fingers crossed.

Effectively you've been punished for having the city inspect it right? Had you not called them out you wouldn't have to use someone off their list, have it inspected, and whatever else.

Yeah, this is what irks me. Fuck me for being a responsible citizen and notifying them when I noticed a little water coming out of their curb box. And now it's "my responsibility" but I need to hire someone on THEIR list? This whole situation is really annoying.

City of Columbus had to come out three different times to "inspect" it after I called to report, and they seemed clueless. This whole thing smells like BS.

  4. So the water curb box down on my sidewalk in front of my house is slowly leaking out the top of the cover. I called the city, they had their folks come out and look at it. They are telling me it isn't their leak, it's somewhere between the curb box and the meter and apparently it's my responsibility to have a certified contractor come out, find the leak, and fix it. And then I need to call the city again and have them come back to inspect.

Any advice? Any recommendations on who I should call?

  5. It's so fucking frustrating that it keeps getting worse, and we can't really do anything about it.

I told my wife that she better not die before me, because when I'm old and senile and have nothing better to do, I'm probably going to drive around all day with a gun and shoot at cars that drive like idiots
