  1. Nice acquisition Paul. Sounds like an awesome daily to me. Any pics?
  2. Lol I wouldn't let best buy install something if it was free. Run far far far away
  3. I got one this year (free from work) for the first time ever. for the past several years I've been sick non stop every winter, literally December thru March I have some nasty flu or strep or bronchitis, or just random annoying colds. F that shit. I got the flu shot this year, felt completely normal after getting it so idk what the fuss is about. I'm a fairly healthy person and I'm always washing my hands, I think my body just rejects winter.
  4. Awesome, I'll let her know Yes. Not a lot, but yeah
  5. I don't know, but I really hope so. Of all the potential candidates that have been talked about so far, Mullen is the only one that really excites me. It's sad because I genuinely like Will Muschamp and think he's a great guy with one hell of a great mind for defense, but it's been clear for over a year now that he's just not the answer. I had high hopes for him, but at this point I'm ready to throw a huge party the day he's fired. The Ron Zook years look good in comparison, and that's a HUGE problem.
  6. I've always thought a CTS-V would be amazing with AWD, especially if they managed to produce one that wasn't quite so heavy. I guess I would want a 2nd-gen CTS-V, AWD, 6-speed manual, with some kind of "track pack" option (less weight, more aggressive tune, a couple suspension tweaks). Paint it Nassau Blue (C5 color). It would be a hard choice between the coupe, sedan, and wagon. In a fantasy "it would never happen" build, I would want a Holden Coupe 60 with an LSX454R (N/A) or some kind of custom LS-based setup (turbocharged). I would also want a late 70's Chevy crew cab 4x4 dually powered by a beefed up Duramax.
  7. Yeah I knew it was going to happen at some point this year. Oh well, ya win some ya lose some
  8. Threatening lives over the internet? LOL. That pussy would never say half that shit to someone in real life. What a bitch
  9. This x100. Nice house though. Looks great from the outside
  10. My mini fridge crapped out on me today. Looking for something bigger than the 1.7 cu ft capacity of my old one. Anybody on CR got anything before I look at craigslist?

mixed reviews from what I've seen, more bad than good
  12. My girlfriend is looking for a new full time job asap. Other than a horrible call center job for BMW, she has worked nothing but retail jobs and is looking for a change. Open to pretty much anything other than retail or call centers. She has a bachelor's in interior design. Very experienced in customer service, has some management and sales experience. Extremely fast learner, intelligent, professional, friendly, and very hard working. Please let me know if you have any leads or know anybody who can help. Thanks
  13. Yeah that has to be it. It's a newer LG smart tv, pretty big size. I'll have to screw around with the settings and see what I can do. Thanks!
  14. Of course I can. This might be the first time I've touched a controller in months
  15. Right stick, my bad. Adjusted sensitivity, still blows. Any ideas?
  16. Ok so I'm at my girlfriend's place waiting on a washer to be delivered, so I brought my 360 over and figured I would kill some time since I'm here by myself all morning. As soon as I start playing black ops 2, I notice a huge lag/delay from the left analog stick, it feels like I'm drunk as hell. Well the connection itself is fine, no lag whatsoever except when I move/look/aim or anything with the left analog stick. I bought a new controller, same shit. WTF is going on?
  17. Ehh mildly interested, I guess. I feel like selling cars is one of those jobs that everyone thinks they would be great at or they think would be a fun/easy career, but dig below the surface and you suddenly realize there's way more to it than you think. I would have no problem putting on a smile and dealing with people, especially if I'm selling cars or something else I actually have an interest/passion for. I sell appliances and windows and other boring shit every day, so cars would be extremely refreshing for me. I just think the biggest turn off would be dealing with the lousy schedule, like Sean mentioned. This is more just a topic for conversation, but it's something I do think about from time to time.
  18. I know there are a few guys on CR that sell cars for a living, and I am curious to learn more about the intricacies of the job. It seems like anyone I've talked to either loves it or despises it, usually depending on the dealership they work for. If you work at a dealer, how did you get started? Are you glad you made a career out of it?
  19. The good news is that I can throw my dad some rent money, move in for a few months and decide how I like it and go from there. The better news is that I wouldn't be moving until next May/June, so I have plenty of time to think about it. Thanks again for everyone's input. Another reason why I love CR
  20. I appreciate the feedback, guys. Awesome stuff in here. Big thanks to all of you This house will never be rented out. Either my dad sells it next year, or I move in for a while and determine if I'm serious about buying it. I genuinely love this house, but buying it for sentimental reasons would be a mistake. The neighborhood is nice, it has a security system and a garage. The concerning part, like Mojoe talked about, is putting up with all the shit when you're out running around. Cybe's comments really highlight my other concerns. Buying the house and raising my family there does not seem like an option because of the schooling. Is it worth buying the house if I'm just going to sell it 5-7 years later? I guess that's what I need to think about the most.
  21. I should clarify, the neighborhood itself is nice (especially that street), it's the surrounding area that I'm not fond of
  22. Specifically right off 71, between Morse/Cooke Rd. My grandparents used to live in a neighborhood there (Matthias Dr, off Maize Rd). Bought the house new in 1959. My grandpa passed away in 2007 and my grandma recently moved into assisted living. My dad now owns the house, and I may have the opportunity to rent/buy the house for a good deal if I want it. It's in fantastic shape, nice yard, 2-car garage, decent basement, good neighbors, etc. I've lived in Hilliard most of my life and just not sure if I want to live in that area. If anyone is familiar with this area, what are your opinions?
