Brian I think when I first met you you were doing that and the dyno but at a different location. The policy is to not have a firearm anywhere on the property including the parking lot. The only way he can do this without violating policy is to park the car in another lot.

As someone that has to occasionally meet with some unstable people to tell them they are fired... I probably should be violating policy.

I would say put a spy in place to stumble upon a store, get the right size and an idea of what she is looking for in a ring. Remember the ring is a conversation piece. Its something that is going to be the focal point of many of her conversations for the first few months after you propose... and occasional conversations afterwards for as long as its on her hand. A proud woman doesnt need a nice ring, but its always good to hear "Damn, he must really love you!". Collecting guns is fun, an investment, and in some ways functional. I have some in the same caliber, hell, I even have guns that are not even practical. For instance... I purchased a Desert Eagle .50 AE for no other reason than I felt like getting one. That gun has no other purpose but to stroke my ego when I fire it and make everyone at the facility come over to talk to me about how cool my gun is. When they ask me to fire it I love to say things like "Are you should you can handle it?" while letting go a perfectly timed chuckle. When I know I'm going to shoot it I always make sure to wear a sweater vest, a pair of Oakleys, and my leather cell phone case on my belt. On one trip 2 college girls with ample breasts and slender bodies asked me if I could show them how to shoot it. I said, "Of course, but I have to warn you, its a hard one to control." Hmm this makes me wonder... What if a police officer is requested because someone thought an armed robbery was about to occur. On the way there the officer gets into an accident... blind turn, lights on through a red light.. When the other officer arrives its a guy with an open carry permit in a park. Do they blame the person that called it in since there was no real threat? The person that didnt stop/hear the sirens, or the guy sitting in a park scaring people with his gun on his side??? I didnt say the cop because he was just responding/doing his job and had his sirens on. From what I was told if the sirens are on its the drivers fault that failed to yield.

CR is growing up. This kind of thread used to be filled with "pour rotten stuff in their ventilation system" posts.

I have a similar story. My best friend growing up had a mom that at one point lived on government assistance. Even with that he would always have the best clothes, latest video games, tv's, etc. On the outside looking in I thought the same thing you did. However, after meeting him I found out it was because his dad. His dad was was the top sales person over at Nissan and would spoil the heck out of him. At one point he gave the mom his Maxima because he won one. I used to think my friend was dealing drugs until I met him and realized he had a well off dad behind the scenes. When it comes to section 8 housing a lot of what you see comes from family. When you have 4 kids by 3 guys you inherit 6 grandparents, 3 dads, and usually about 8 uncles and aunts. Its very easy to look like you have a lot when you have a big family that wants to make sure the kids enjoy their childhood. P.S. The money we save from the programs would have to be put into additional law enforcement after the crime rate went up. The extra police making extra arrests would lead to additional court hearings. Additional court hearings would lead to additional people in jail. Now instead of "assisting" you are paying for everything they do. Not only that, their 4 kids would be cared for by the state because their single parent is in jail. Not everyone would turn into criminals, but the ones that did would cost enough to make up for a lot of the people that didnt. I would like to see them drastically reduced, but still have them for the people that dont abuse it.
