  1. WOW! I won't take my car there for service given I'm modded and don't want flagged but given their rates, I really wouldn't go there. Most shops I've seen are $75-90hr and that's more than enough/fair IMO.
  2. Perhaps things have changed, but most places I've used in the past would put the diagnostic fee towards the repair. I know when I had work done on my Ford at Germain Ford they did. Maybe that was just the service adviser who I knew liked and worked with all the time. I even brought and would bring our Entourage to them for repairs. Is it the "norm" to have a separate diagnostic fee? Don't know myself, but I can say not everyone does it that way.
  3. I totally forgot about these guys! Haven't been there or worked with them but they are certainly another great option that I'll look into as they are in a decently located area proximity wise to many of us. Thanks!
  4. None that sound good. Just gets louder inside but not much outside. AWE Touring is a nice set up as is the Milltek but both are $1,500-$2k. Crazy IMO.
  5. I want to upgrade mine so it emits a bit more tone but the damn prices for them is 2-3x yours and they yield zero power gain. Mustangs sound amazing.
  6. I'll pm you later. Kit is Good but we can use an orbital and specific Polish to do it better and faster.
  7. Looks great! I love the crazy detail you put into the upgrades. PM me and we'll find an hour to restore those headlights to brand new clarity. You're just around the corner from me.
  8. I continue to love reading up on your work Brian. Great stuff!
  9. Awesome set up. Bonus on getting it together so quickly! Now you just need to mod that license plate frame off
  10. Obama love'n libs like to debate, I can't help that. In terms of my potentially adding a few chapters to the novel being written here, not needed. I had Kerry buy me a coffee on Saturday to listen to his side. I then bitched back, knocked over his bike and he kicked in the driver side door of my car. Done, saving everyone about 82 pages of posts, only 3 of which would be meaningful.
  11. Applies to many. It's a like a bunch of cackling hens in here. http://multilingualbooks.com/wp/soundandvision/files/2014/09/let-it-go-frozen.png
  12. Didn't read the whole thread, but DAMN!!! that does look like it fucking HURTS! I read your post about the 3 days after and it reminded me of my sinus surgery. Same deal. On day 3 I was about to call 911 it hurt so bad. Just waiting on Jason to come in and see this and comment. Between the two of you I bet the stories would bring me to my knees in pain just thinking about them. Good luck on the recovery.
  13. As when I see stories like this I could absolutely see myself going off the deep end on the person responsible. I think the combination of emotions from seeing this happen to a poor defenseless animal and the anger towards the person who did it would result in a news story of its own. If you watch the video your heart will tug a little when you see the dog still seems to be happy to see people and wags her tail. Even still she does seem head-shy due to what they say were likely repeated beatings. People can really suck. http://nbc4i.com/2016/02/24/dog-set-on-fire-and-left-to-die-near-mansfield/
  14. Dublin has a teach "work day" which means kids are home regardless.
  15. Vehicles like this in general have gotten out of control price wise. If it really costs that much to produce these turds then there are definitely some operational opportunities at GM and with many others.
  16. For comparison here are the Fiske wheels with the original finish that was ruined by improperly hitting them with a fairly caustic product. Never let your nephews who mean well clean your car. http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/TOkKJqH_zpshcciqwmu.jpg
  17. +1 on MedVet. Not cheap at all but they are very good and have helped us on a number of occasions over the last few years. Good luck man.
  18. Are the Fiske from my friend Alex I sent your way? Trying to get him to bring his car to Lennox. It's pretty nice.
  19. Reason 1,234 that support Derek no matter where he works. These issues are then non-issues.

    LOL. This thread consistently delivers.
  21. Congrats man! You have some very very nice work. Should do well. Can't help you on the web site part as my work is all corporate photography and editing. When I shot sports and did market to families I used Smug Mug. Main reason was the fees were reasonable and the site well known.
  22. ^^ this. The phrase I tell my people is that they need to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Do that and combine it with some common sense, good business sense, a set of thought out plans, the ability to change and grow applying learnings constantly to the plan and a sincere drive to achieve your plans and you will be successful. IMO everyone should have an Individual Development Plan for themselves. If you're just going to work everyday and going through the motions then you're not guiding your own outcome.
