  1. Great collection and welcome to the group. I can't recall where I know you and I know each other from but somewhere along the way perhaps when the wife and I were looking at either a home or office property perhaps. It just hit me when I saw your photo. Regards,
  2. Here's a find for you. 3. ^^ this. Ryan and I've talked through it and he's spot-on. The remaining issues we have with one of our dogs is/was a result of my wife not wanting to change HER Behavior with him on walks. We've used both. The e-Collars do work. I don't call them shock collars as to me the current doesn't travel through their body like a lightening bolt just around their neck / shoulders. It's really just like the old fashioned hand-shake gag-gifts we've all seen. We used one with our first Boxer years ago that barked a lot. Currently we have great success with the newer style pinch collars for walks with both dogs. Our Pit Mix that I've talked with Ryan about now heals, and obeys on walks even without the pinch collar. We still use it though as we are still leery of him with other dogs. 5yrs of bad behavior takes time to work out for sure. He's close though. ^^ this. get them while they are young and food motivated. worked great for our newer pup. just be consistent. I do the heel / sit and stay every time I take her outside. We're just now starting to let her run in the yard outside to go to the bathroom off the leash. I really wanted her trained in case she were to hop the fence chasing a squirrel.
  4. I've driven one. More than once. It's still a four banger and a 16 second car. Move well in traffic but once you try and merge on the freeway or pass, it's not until you wind it out that it begins to feel peppy and then when it shifts, it falls again. Handles nicely but my preference is for an Accord V6 Sport. Way more power and handles nicely. IMO a more refined interior too.
  5. Automatically controlled climate system. Basic stuff by today's standards. I agree. I can't see why Mazda would pull the plug on a V6 or even a turbo 4. I like the look, the inside of the newer ones is great but the lack of real power is disappointing.
  6. ^^ I'd buy a 1-2yr old one fully loaded and enjoy the car. Use the remaining money for Gas and insurance.
  7. Took the family opening day weekend to see the 3D version. Loved the movie but am not a fan of 3D. The kids are. It was okay in 3D and had some good scenes but overall the UltraPlex screen there isn't anywhere near as nice as some of other theaters I've been too. Give me a nice sharp HD Looking 2D and I'm good. Cliffs: I won't be doing any more 3D at Marcus.
  8. Look into pre-buying more laps. CMS is a small track. I did the Nascar gig there and bought up quite a bit and was a happy camper. Insurance on a full blown Nascar was cheap. Not sure on a Lambo.
  9. I have and use that same one Paul. Works as advertised and great. No issues.
  10. Making FI Cars everywhere feel inadequate. If you attached a vacuum style nose on that thing it could sweep up the track.
  11. Hit up Derek for your wheels and install. He got me a great deal on the Niche Wheels and did a bang up job. Installed, mounted both summer and winter wheels for me in my driveway I'm sure he can get you anything brand wise you want.
  12. Not perfect but it works. I'd still vote to have them in a black chrome or leave them Polished. I'm biased though. After a week they will get dirty and get darker anyway. LOL that my summer wheels go from brushed aluminum to power coated back chrome look after about 5 days. http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/70elvmgo_zpsolfh70d1.gif
  13. On those wheels with your car, I'd go polish black chrome. I'm thinking of doing that on my summer wheels too and debate this back and forth. To follow up what Clay notes, I'd also look at having the chrome trim wrapped too. To do my entire Sedan Trim was about $250 so it could be even less on yours as you barely have any. Not sure I'd even do it on yours though since it's minimal. http://www.oewheels.net/camaro-blk-crome-2-p.jpg
  14. would bang either......Columbia looks more fun though
  15. FWIW anyone with a loved one, especially a parent that they don't see often, watch this one twice then go see them. As much as my enjoyed the last 12 months I cared for my father here with us in Columbus, I equally regret not having made more time for him in years past. Life does get in the way and clouds our judgement and seems to leave us believing time doesn't go by as fast as it does. I say this on the day I hung my father stocking back up on our fireplace.
  16. you could just sell yours and find a way to buy this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-IS-/111853842661?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1a0b0230e5:g:GnoAAOSwbdpWYuiu&item=111853842661&rmvSB=true Buy this and change your screen name to TheFound
  17. Welcome and nice ride. You and Casey driving down the road at the same time would sound like a drag strip even at 35mph.
  18. PM Me. I won't need it for another 20k (I only have 14k on the car now) miles but anyone who can do work on my Audi and is reliable or trustworthy is a good contact to have. Thanks!
  19. I take mine there too as I'm too lazy, especially when it's cold. Just watch them and in my case, I actually walk through how to do it. They hate me at first, but fast appreciate the concern a car guy exhibits.
  20. Close but meh....but what really needs said is that Lambo sounds bad ass. Handles like we're watching a video game.
  21. I fall into bed every night. My wife always seem to move just in time. After a couple times my dog now knows to get the hell off the bed when I walk in. Occasionally I break my own fall.
  22. I've been following the thread at AZ. When it comes time for a DSG Service that I don't want to pay for, I suppose I know where to go :burn:
  23. We do Sam's only because it's right off Sawmill and close. Otherwise I'd Costco as it does seem nicer.
