First day in the snow. Blizzak LM-32's did a great job but it's still so dang easy to drive it like a RWD Car and hang it's ass end out there it's still hard to believe........and fun as hell http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OY6A4403%20copy%20web%20smaller_zps01blyqgd.jpg

^^ This. From what I've seen/read it shifts every bit as nicely. The up in power may be zapped a bit from the converter but shift wise, I think it's nice. Stock the DSG's in the S4 clunked a bit upon rolling to a stop (removed with a tune) and have some things about daily driving it that the average Joe would likely not enjoy as much as say a true enthusiast thus making the move to a full blown auto tranny a logical move......for some. Me....I love the DSG, especially after applying a new tune to it. A true dual shift system or more of a typical manual shifting auto-tranny like a tiptronic? Which car? My Fusion sport had manumatic ability but it was still just manual shifting an auto transmission. Nicely done but nothing more than fun or ease of use to hold a gear.

yes. he's awesome. works at the dent removal place at sawmill / 161 just south of Piada.

The thought of someone with passion driving the hell out of it, like it's meant to be driven, should make you smile. The wreck part only happens occasionally and is just a consequence of all the fun when one day something goes a wee-bit wrong. Good news is when that happens you get to start over :gabe:

I'd call Kevin Clifford. Good news is he's good and that doesn't look too bad on the outside. Whether if messed up the window tracks or internals may yet to be seen. Looks like it may be below all of that.

My 2010 Fusion Sport 3.5L was a very nice car and did well up until about 40k miles when the tranny took a shit and then at 60k when the camshaft phaser system imploded. All together over $5k in out of warranty repairs. That was my first and last Ford. Nothing is made well anymore it seems. All in all it will scoot much better and has some nice equipment. Mine stickered at just under $35k back in 2010. AWD was a stupid $9k option thus I passed on that. If it's finally included at that price that would be very cool. Cool features for us business travelers: A mobile version of the Concur expense-reporting app logs mileage in a journal for expediting expense accounting for business users. Eventseeker finds entertainment goings-on while Cityseeker offers restaurant and nightlife guidance. 4G LTE technology lets the owner locate a parked vehicle, start the engine, read the fuel gauge, and unlock the doors via their smartphone.

Congrats and have fun with it. Good phones skills and customer support remotely like that can take you far. Key really is to make it fun. I have seen people go from making $13hr in a production environment to over $140k via inside sales. A good friend of mine started in the warehouse operating a forklift moved to customer service, then inside sales now and outside sales and to this day he's been in sales ever since making big bucks. Good luck man!

Something I've not ever done in Hawaii but I have enough insurance capability to roll a Jeep a few times so I might have to look into it

I would be in a modded CTS-V if it was AWD. Otherwise, I wouldn't trust myself in anything with that level of power or something like this MBZ given it's all delivered through the rear wheels only. Trust me the roads are safer this way

Recommendation for a lawyer specializating in 2nd amendment issues

curious as to what you're preparing for? -
Perhaps. We each have our opinions. I still stand by by mine that if people choose to do dumb things like not utilizing a seat belt then they get to win the prize of being tossed about like a dumb ass and or getting punched in the face by an airbag.
-
Where did I wish anyone harm. I simply said they get what they deserve. They own the results from their actions. Do dumb things, win dumb prizes.

Dumb people not wearing seat belts get what they deserve too.

Feel free to have him call me and I'll share with him what we have available. We've taken the lab from 85 to 327 people in the last 6 years. Great people and excellent benefits with room for growth. Key is going to be he's responsible and hard working in terms of commitment. Good interpersonal skills as keeping a well oiled team for us is key. I'll have time to talk on Friday after 1pm. Will PM you. Tim

Can anybody recommend a German car shop in Cincinnati ?

Dubwerks. Good guys. They did the Stage II on my S4. The are spectacular with VW and Audi's. -
I have been trolling this thread daily and rubbing one out to that car. Keep it.

I must be missing something around this matter.

Gotcha. Honestly and don't laugh.....you need to check this out: http://www.parts-express.com/51-home-theater-bundle-12-powered-subwoofer--300-696 I have one in our basement for the kids and it's amazing. I'm not joking. I have some extremely high end tastes in music fidelity and audio upstairs and in our theater in the lower level and while this isn't Paradigm/McIntosh grade it's amazing. Don't let the pricing fool you. I think 2-3 others from CR can chime in as they own this same set up. I LOL'd when I bought it on a whim and hooked it up. Kids use it every day for movies, TV, gaming in their room in the lower level. Even I will watch movies or football in their vs the larger room. I'm actually buying more from them for our new house that should be ready next year.

Tons of options and I'm not saying it's "the one" but I bought a friend of mine a Samsung (yes Samsung) one that has perfect sound for his famiy room for Christmas. Very hard hitting wireless sub and a 48" long sound bar which fit perfect just in front of his 55" LED. Not too big at all. Like you he wanted much better sound and in a simple family room the sub behind the TV really hits nice and makes everything sound better. Kids and wife were happy with it too. HHGreg had it for like $260.

Any lawyers on the board? seeking career advice

My wife went to Capital Law as well. Start with the prep course for the LSAT and as Clay notes, it will test your initial resolve and interest. She practiced privately and did well and enjoyed it. She may go back once the kids are a little older but likely will go into teaching at either OSU or Capital as she has connections both places. -
Took the Audi in for the newer version of the Viper Smart Start System installation and am once again a very happy customer of Pickups Plus Cars. The system was great on my last car and seems even better now. Anyone looking for a remote start has the place to go IMO right here from CR. Kyle, Brady, Justin and Crew all did a great job. What I'm very happy to share is that for Audi owners with the Advance Key system, PPC was able to use the factory plastic back up key and the chip inside that one for the installation, thus you will NOT lose one of the very pricey factory remotes when having this system installed. Great job guys! http://www.technologytell.com/gadgets/files/2012/06/viper-smartstart.jpg

Take your customer service/inside sales skills which are transferable and try other industries. Selling intangibles / service like you're doing is much more challenging than products and desirable. You also serve a very professional market; another plus. Leverage your writing skills as written communication, especially published articles is great. Perhaps begin with some blogs within your current sector vs just the automotive side.

He should join CR.
