  1. Congrats. I have to laugh a little as with all the streaming content and digital downloads, we've not rented or bought a blue ray disc in the last 12 months or so. I may be sacrificing a bit of IQ but it's really splitting hairs for the most part. Not to say I don't enjoy a good blue ray up-scaled on a 4k TV though. Once more true 4k content is out things will change for a short bit.....and then I'm sure that too will be streaming.
  2. Welcome. Fun car, but will need more than a simple stage 1 to really wake her up. In for pics.
  3. Bump.....It's being traded in to Midwest this week and likely sold for $750. Come get a great camera for an equally good deal.....
  4. Personally, let the husband do it. They aren't going to do anything if you call except ask does the husband know and then to tell you to get him involved.
  5. I'm with Sully. I need to find me one of these women. Hell I don't even have to cheat on my wife to make this work. Makes not getting strange from a Mistress appealing. Sorry for your friend and their family, but honestly if the dude didn't realize that much money is going out then that's lesson #2 that's going to come from all this. WOW! IMO: TELL HIM! For everyone's sake....tell him to just "look into the finances a bit" WOW! This is the kind of stuff I'd travel to Malaysia for with the intent to kill. 95% serious.
  6. Said person doesn't believe they are being scammed and they obviously don't believe or trust your judgement about the matter. The first is typical because they are too close to the matter. The latter says a bit more. Even more-so if they are a good friend to you. Just let them know you'll be there to help pick them up when they fall but that they have a HUGE, "I told you so coming."
  7. Yes. Donated them to another good home. 10/10. Will text you later :masturboy: We set up our tank with 1/2 sand and 1/2 shredded coconut with a huge moss net up top. That's where they stayed most of the time the rest was under the sand.
  8. Clay, I have a ton of stuff you can have. Clean sand, a 10gal tank, some great hideouts, etc. Please take it. Quality stuff as my kids went through the whole hermit Crab thing, etc. after the Ohio State Fair a couple years back and won them... Text or PM Me to meet up this week. I even have a nice heat lamp, pad, etc.
  9. $100 on Chad. KO by the end of round 3.
  10. Watched it last night....I liked it. Gotta know going in that it's not a 10/10 movie. Was funny though. Worth the watch. It's stupid fun humor that's done better than some.
  11. I can believe it. Listen to them...sound like some of America's finest and most intelligent My only complaint is that the guy who shot the kid needs more training on proper placement. 5 shots and not dead....WOW. I suppose in his defense he had some serious Adrenalin and nervousness....but still...
  12. Yes. Ruger SR9c, SR40c Compact. It's model # LG-449. I bought it through Adorama where I buy a lot of optics related items. I paid $199 plus shipping and will take a small hit for making a dumb mcsteak. Asking $160 for it.
  13. DITTO...just posted about a Crimson Trace for an SR9c that I don't need.
  14. Didn't realize I made a mis-purchase and bought a Crimson Trace for one a while back. My SR9 is a Full Size thus this won't fit. Looking to find a home for this or heck, I might even buy a compact version if anyone is selling one. Reply or PM. Thanks! Tim
  15. Great camera and excellent focusing system. Less than a few thousand shutter actuations on it. Wags uses one to capture his shots so if you've seen his, you know what it can do. This was an impulse buy to tide me over until my latest body I upgraded to came out. I have four bodies in hand and no longer need this one. Come get it for a fantastic price. I do not tend to keep boxes, but it is complete with Battery, body cap, strap, manual, software, etc. I'll even throw in some major branded software for the CR crew member who buys it :ninja: Bought locally at Midwest Camera Exchange for $1,100 back in June-July. Receipt in hand too. Sonny over there knows me well. Solid camera. $625 for CR Peeps. Samples I have handy -- You must click on the image and then expand to full size to see the details. 16. ^^ I was thinking this. Especially in a luxury car you would think they'd beef up an AWD System and put it in standard. That said, I'd pound the shit out of that car like a college aged baby sitter.
  17. I forwarded him Mo-Joe's CCW Information as he is interested and definitely has a need. Follow up with him to make sure he's on it.
  18. Faucet in the kitchen dripped unless it was shut off with the handle in the hot position. Then I also noticed a slight drip from the left side of the sink left a puddle in the cabinet. Fuck, I hate water issues. Easy fix though.....picked up the phone, called Ray Hughes and while it wasn't an easy job for him (nothing ever is) it only cost me $150 and I didn't have to do a fucking thing. Just the way I like it. Props to Ray for spending 3hrs on a Sunday fixing my shit. Cliffs: Upgraded Faucet, replaced sink basket and replaced piping.
  19. Haha! I did the same thing with an old Kicker 10" sub and amp when I bought the MS3. Bose system is nice but lacked any real bass. Pops in and out with ease. Adds a great amount of bass without kiddie thumping the plate and back hatch. The newer sound systems are much nicer. The 13 speaker surround set up in the Fusion sounds amazing and has tons of clean bass.
  20. been there done that in several cars. most recently an LED trial in my Fusion Sport. Granted that was now 3yrs ago, but still. the easiest option IMO was to find a set of HID's from the bone yard or pop in a whiter traditional color bulb into the OEM Socket. That's what I did on the minivan and the results were great. I ended up passing on the HID's for the sake of cost really. However, in the past cars I've had they have worked out great.
  21. I agree. Doesn't appear to be the best installation....
  22. Flash back ten years ago and and compare the amount of online shopping happening now vs then. We did 99% of our shopping online this year.
