I'll bring my two kids over Sunday night then......I love them, but damn I hate them being home during the week when I am working remote.
-
HaHa! Me too. Thus why a couple well placed vacations in Jan-March are always on our schedule. Two CA trips and well....one NYC one but usually when the spring weather breaks finally. Need me some Carnegie Deli sandwiches.

could it be true that we might actually see snow? Chris Bradley added 4 new photos. PLEASE SHARE--- Tomorrow's storm continues to shift south putting Columbus and neighborhoods north of I-70 in the path of heaviest snow! A wintry mix of rain/sleet/snow begins by 11AM Sunday. The wintry mix will change to all snow along and north of I-70 with 3 to 5 inches possible by late Sunday night and Monday morning. Expect numerous school delays & cancellations Monday as well as significant travel problems in the morning if the storm maintains its forecast track.

Owned a bunch of cars, many with lots of miles and so long as you change it out regularly it won't matter. It's not a turbo, race car or beat on right? Personally, I'd save the money and go dino and change it out.

They don't blow up if modded correctly. The problem I've seen is the ones blowing up are those custom tuning things well beyond what would be safe. My tune has plenty of room left and I know others and identical mods running upwards of 310hp with it and are still safe. I just chose to keep it pig rich and more than safe. Besides, traction is already limited even in the beginning of 3rd.

You're welcome to come see my 2008 MS3 GT. has everything but Nav. It's going up for sale officially very soon. less than 36k on the ODO and it's in new condition. Puts down 270/290 with an intake and very safe and proven tune. Can be flashed back to stock in 5 mins. ZERO issues. Will come with Summer and Winter sets of wheels and a 10" Kicker sub and Amp already installed. PM Me for details. Hard to find cars let alone one this clean.

^^ This. however you'd be surprised at what a strong detail can do for it. Ours is now 7yrs old and come spring it will look 95%+ like new. I do the outside and pay a local guy to do the interior and again, it looks brand new inside.

^^ I agree with everything Clay said except perhaps the quality peice. Minivans are by far the best value out there and can be had relatively cheap for all they do. We abuse ours daily for everything you can think of from hauling stuff and taking general abuse from my wife as she fights the urban wars. We bought our Entourage with 4k on the ODO and saved over $10 from it's original sticker. Loaded with everything but the DVD System and Leather. Quality wise, it's been very good. I've put tires, brakes and a power steering pump on it, replaced a cracked intake tube which could have been from an oil change place, etc. but other than oil changes, coolant flush and tranny fluid service etc. in terms of routine stuff, it's been spectacular. We did have the ignition switch done under warranty and I'm on our second battery but again, more routing shit. I did all of the above for our Honda when we had it and the main difference might be seen in resale value. However, the van was also $9,600 less than the same mileage and year Honda when I bought it, so I took my savings up-front. I'd do it again too. Ours was in service 4 months with 4k on it and I paid $19k OTD with the the 100k warranty in tact. Been there done that with both Honda and Mazda Minivans and IMO it's one vehicle the Koreans can't fuck up and have proved to us is solid. I recommend saving the money and give them a strong consideration. I don't regret it at all. Toyota and Honda do have the edge in refinement perhaps but overall, I'm happy with the money we spent. MPG wise, the wife averages 18mpg all day long with the majority (90%+) being suburban miles. When she worked and had to go downtown for court hearings that daily average where the average was 70/30% she still got 21-22mpg. On vacation trips loaded up with good, it average 22-24mpg with my right foot at 75-80mph.

PM Jaron. Ask him if I didn't say exactly that. He has the secret to 585rwhp for very little.
-
I expect I'll be in the $35-45k range depending on the miles/yr and if it's a rare wagon or not. I won't limit myself too much other than I will buy used to not take that initial depreciation hit. Flexible on color choice.
-
No. They got out of the business just before the close of 2000. Father past away this last April. Props to Jaron for filling me in on the details of cost effective gains. I'll be back in touch once I have the car.

Two kids, two dogs....yep. Besides, as you get into your mid 40's less fucks are given about what others really think I especially like the idea of a Wagon that can put most cars in their place. Even those that are faster, as there will always be those, get a little butt-hurt when Satin's Chariot gives them a run for their money. Lastly, I don't like being like everyone else. I may very well end up with a sedan but a wagon is different and that's worth a few tenths in my book. In the end I won't know what the final decision is going to be for a couple weeks as management is voting on the company car program then. All things point to the plan whereby I will be getting a V. If it goes the other way, I won't but will still not have too much to complain about. First world problem.

Great insight. I'll definitely be visiting them. Color wise, I'll work back with Jordan to see what's out there. If I had room for more than 2-3 cars I would. Not sure what the new house will have but I'm aiming for no less than 3. I'll probably just put a set of winter wheels and tires on it and when needed for business rent a car. They will be paying mileage on top of the new plan so that will cover a rental. Otherwise in bad weather she should be fine if driven correctly I'm definitely going to be looking into a wagon if available. Not sure what I'll do there. Trans wise, I'm more inclined to go auto mainly because it's a daily and a company car.

Good info Agree. Some just above stock but reliable is what I'm after. Been there done crazy mods on cars that caused them to be less than reliable longer term.
-
Put your penis back in your pants dude. Who said I had a car on-par with a CTS-V ? I've had my are of RWD cars with power is what I'm referring to. Besides I grew up in the car business and drive anything I liked from my parents dealerships in Cleveland. Have had everything Grand Nationals to Tt300zs awd 3000GTs and others. Prior to CR the wife and I owned both MBZ and BMW'S too. Relax. Been behind the wheel a long time with no issues.
-
Meh....I've had fast cars before. CR is but a few years of my old life.
-
Very likely will be picking up a new Daily Driver and it's likely going to be a 2012 or newer CTS-V Can't go with it being stock for long but don't want to go overboard either as it's a daily. Please school me on the best bang for the buck and what's needed. Looking at minimums of Smaller Pulley Injectors to handle it Tune of course Intake - which one is best? Headers - Meh...pricey but looking for insight on exhaust work that would be good to get. Ballpark on pricing would be good too. Thanks guys. Excited about spring this year.

Nice find! Holy Shit like 32 times! I'd frame something off that truck. Chevy should get some press and buy the guy a new one.
