  1. Sweet justice. I seriously would send him copies of any bullshit tickets he issued with a note that tells him to wipe his potentially and hopefully bloody asshole from his cell mates with them. I never got busted by him, but a good friend got two plate tickets from him.
  2. Best way to tackle it is to set goals, write them down and commit. Great gig. Ask me how I know The three real paths there are public sector, private and corporate. Wife chose private and hung her own shingle out for years. Lots of work but pays off better in the long run. Her friends that went the public/state and corporate made more for the first 2-3yrs but worked their asses off for others. In the long run she out paced their income by far and it enabled us to have her semi-retire at 45. she'll likely go teach at Capital or OSU in the coming years. Her friends that are on their own still love it and while it's hard work, being your own boss is the way to go. Others however are content with good money working for someone else as there's less responsibility / stress. Hell that describes me in a way. Get ready to read and write a lot! You are. You have to just ask yourself where you'll be at 43 if you do or don't do something different and if you're good with the answer. Good luck.
  3. I've been beating up on an 04 around my neighborhood for several years with a little four banger. To this day that fucker still tries though.
  4. What others said....Kitty Litter. They also have a white powdery absorbent material you can get at the parts store. If it's still tacky/wet it will stick to it and pull it out pretty well to. I used that in my garage after a sloppy oil change and it pull nearly all the oil up. Little dawn soap and power washer got it out completely.

    Garage repair??

As a backup 2nd opinion, I called Shamrock Overhead door as the owner Scott, has kids in my kids class in Dublin. Couple nieghbors used him and had good things to say, so he's coming over this afternoon. Will update this thread when complete. UPDATE: Going with Charlie. Way better quote on repair of the door. $500 vs over $800. I think the guy from Shamrock thought he could gouge me or something because we had something in common. All I really want is a fair deal on an expensive panel with windows. Charlie Culver is his name. Good Guy. Baby time!!!

Enjoy the day. I remember our first. Sucked for mom for a while but the whole process was awesome overall.

    Baby time!!!

    Good times ahead! First one?
  8. This is IMO one of the dumbest games. I suppose it's better than some in that kids at least create the environments and have to think vs just mindlessly shooting, etc. It's also very "kid appropriate" vs some of the stuff out there. I would love to help him with more "mods" but some of them are just too sketchy in terms of source. He's having a hard time realizing that security on my network is first and foremost.
  9. Optifine McPatcher My son is looking to install the above mods but I'm not familiar with this bullshit game and all their third party crap that makes me leery of installing anything. Besides jumping through the hoops of a bunch of 12yr olds shit sites to get to them. Anyone know of a good site or places to down load the above from? Thanks in advance.

    Garage repair??

BUMP because I called this guy (Charlie) and he took a call at nearly 8pm even. Sounded like he's going to work out really well for what I need.

    Gas Grills

Every shop should have one. Pretty cool.
  12. worst vid in the world about engine sounds. they need to STFU, start the car, rev it a couple times, give 1/4 run run and a blast-by run, then another rev. STFU is the key part...and kill the background music. Gett rid of the fucking zebra masking already too. It looks about as typical of a MBZ there is. otherwise, it sounds like a V8. Side note: Saw a blond driving an AMG Coupe in New Albany yesterday and her plate was MB VROOM. I approve of women like that.
  13. I was just thinking if gas prices ever spike like they did in 08 there's going to be a fire-sale on V8's with plenty of them driving around for the picking.....hmmmm.
  14. I figured as much. In shopping for a new company car I looked at the Impala LTZ for $42k. No thanks. Hell, a Taurus Limited goes for that too. Again, no thanks.
  15. There's a beautiful black one with chrome wheels like that in the Sawmill Sam's Club Area. I've seen it around several times. Can't recall but I don't believe it had dealer or manufacturer plates. Don't know if it's a manual or not.
  16. Good story and not a big deal really. I passed a semi on 315N today and from moving to the left and blasting around him, I was well up over 85mph and with clear road ahead, I just coasted down to my typical 72-74mph. I would hate to post the speeds I've hit passing a semi on a two lane 55mph roads.
  17. yes/no, there's not reason at all there can't be individual state laws, but on topics like CCL's is should be universal across all states like drivers licenses.
  18. Did I hear a kid say "holy fuck" ? Cool vid!

    Gas Grills

Weber is the way to go. Spend more now and you'll be with that grill for a number of years. We've had ours for nearly 10yrs and it's like brand new. Fires up on the first push of the button every time. Fit and finish are still 9/10 If it wasn't for the fact that it was a birthday gift, I would have gone for a bigger sized grill. I won't likely buy another brand Gas Grill given what Weber has delivered.
  20. With that much power, I'd personally never buy it in a stick. An 8 speed auto would be fun as hell.
  21. especially given it's size/weight. Most likely one the heaviest vehicles out there than can claim a 1/4mi. track as it's home.
  22. ^^ This. I have more home projects than I have time. Although I must say Marc did hook me up on a painter and in turn on a driveway guy. both were just as reasonable in $$ and provided great quality work.
  23. How are they going to know? Does the car require E85 or something to support the tune? I have some mild mods and a great supporting tune on my MS3 but I'm not saying shit if I trade it. Why? Runs just great on 92 or higher just as it would stock. I can of course flash mine back to stock.
  24. I was thinking the same thing. That's crazy HP compared to my POS and even it is a PIA under WOT. Cobalts supposedly have a good suspension though so I would imagine freeway play is controllable at least.
