FS: Canon SX40HS 800mm Mega Zoom Camera - NOW $200
TTQ B4U replied to TTQ B4U's topic in Other Stuff
Bump $200 ........again, excellent camera. -
I found out in a good way that Sunday the USPS delivers for Amazon.com in place of UPS. I was shocked to see the package "out for deliver" and then even more shocked to see a postal truck at my house on Sunday! He told me they won a bid nationwide that delivers on Sundays for Amazon. Made for a great day.

It's been like that for years though with no issue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It was simply a round bed before. Anthony just extended it and gave it shape as to cover the large shallow roots that made their way up to the surface. Typical Maple Tree.

Had Anthony and company out to do some spring cleaning and build us an estate wall wrapping around 3 sides of our house. Not something I had any interest in doing myself. He built the wall, put in a new planting bed around a Crimson Maple in our front yard, brought in a couple loads of mulch, good quality top soil, removed 3 trees and about a dozen other large bushes, including grinding out the stumps down to china, planted several new ones, removed a sandbox, put in a new patio area, planted grass where needed and handled several other things. It's still in-process as we are slowly planting new things and have a couple on order including an accent tree for the driveway (which is being replaced in two weeks). Final pics in the near future. Not all areas area shown here. I did however want to extend a huge thank you and show others what you guys did. I'm especially impressed and very happy with the perfectly level walls. They are done right whereas many simply go with the terrain. Kudos and many thanks for all the heavy lifting. Cleaning out some of my gear and while I love this camera, it's not getting much use and I'd love to see it go to someone who is going to enjoy it more often. GREAT Camera! I have plenty of excellent pics and videos from this one. Handles Snow/highlights like a champ, does extremely well in low light (yes, has four-stop stabilization) and all around exhibits excellent Canon Image Quality. Reviews come it tops for it's category. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/SX40HS/SX40HSA.HTM It's in brand new condition. I may have the box, not sure but will check. Comes with the camera and a lens hood, charger, battery, etc...nothing missing of course. CR Price $225 I'll even show you the ropes on using it. ^^ this. Let the dealer taking it worry about it. Sucks that you'll likely lose out on this deal.

Dude do you realy think this guy didn't leave his post? He's a defector. His own fellow soldiers aren't going to ban together to make that shit up. I also do believe he was feeding the enemy information. Why else would they not just kill the fucker after so many years.
-
Giving it to a cousin. Sorry.

yes, you need to change out the regulator and orifices. You can drill them out to 1/16" You can go up to 3/32" but I would start small. They sell kits for various grills too. I would suggest you contact the grill manufacturer.

Misogynistic.....fuck I don't care if Hilary and Nancy Pelosi have man-parts, they SUCK and fucking shouldn't be involved in running this country in any way. Man, woman or beast, they are horrible. Also the race card is bullshit as Obama is Caucasian. It's ironic that he's America's first black president when in reality he's not really black, he's a mix. However, somewhere along the lines if you are 50/50 and you get elected POTUS, you're black.
-
Typical Obama fashion though. Not surprising. He's walked around with an air of arrogance that is clearly out of place for years. Too bad he can't manage his own people, earn respect from fellow politicians nor run this country for a damn. He's a legend in his own mind. In a way I'm glad his shit storm of a first and second term is running part of this country into the ground. Serves all the numb-fucks that voted for him right that they are likely paying the price for putting him there. Just too bad there are so many other casualties that didn't vote for him. Such is the price we pay when the masses that voted for him outnumber those that have common sense. In the end Darwin is paying us all a visit. Hopefully next time round people don't make the same mistake. Fuck, if Hillary gets elected, I'm going to fucking scream.

Anyone have one they wish to part with? Looking to give one to my daughter and replace an aging iPad 2 she has now. Thanks!

They can refuse to perform warranty work, but they can't actually "VOID" a warranty. Neither can the manufacturer. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for them to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket part. Not difficult either. I just won a legal battle from a few months ago against a plumbing company that fucked with us on repair. $$ It's required by the FTC that the manufacturer prove the aftermarket item was itself defective, wasn't installed correctly, and/or thus caused the damage that they are denying warranty coverage on. ^^ The above is why Mazda couldn't do shit on my AEM CAI vs having to buy the Mazda Version which is 100% the same only 50% more in cost. The service writer also tried to say since they didn't do the install....blah, blah......again, not true nor legal. Personally if faced with that, I'd seek counsel, have them send in a letter stating the repair will be paid for but that if they are found in violation of the law you will seek reimbursement for that repair, legal fees and seek to have the FTC conduct an investigation. It's serious business and not something a dealer is going to fuck with.
-
How can they void a warranty without cause? One, there's no damage yet to void coverage of and two, don't they have to prove the intake lead to the damage? I smell a legal issue brewing if it's not already. The one service writer dick at Byers tried saying crap like that to me when I went in there once for a recall issue but quickly shut up once he found out it was a hot button of mine too.

Awesome shots Brian! You really have come a long way in a very short time.

^^ Likely covered by the other guy...

Those work. Use the larger ones for when you turn the temp up above 275* Smaller ones will work fine on 200-225 or so.

A few questions on some issues with my Supra
TTQ B4U replied to IBAUCLAPlaya's topic in Tech and Tips
I'm no expert but the above sounds ridiculous. Personally I'd go see a reputable body shop and have them fix it. Way too nice of a car to use "touch up paint" -
Ford needs to put that one in the Fusion so I will want one to replace my current 3.5l Sport. Otherwise, no.

You can still use the seal. Again, read up on your model at http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/ I spent weeks on there before buying and since.
