So in one year you're saying both platforms had an increase in the number of crashes and the difference has gone from .36% to .69%. WOW! Fucking stop the presses!!! Look at this way, both are increasing but the end results are still only .69% from one another. But when you look at the rate of increase of these crashes are occurring, the growth rate of Android crashes outpace iOS at nearly 3x the rate. iOS started at .51% grown up to 3.66% yields and rate of growth: 617% Androids start at .15% and end at 2.97% yielding a rate of 1880% So in conclusion it's still good be an iOS user as even as both platforms experience tremendous growth, Androids are experiences more difficulty as they grow than iOS. Likely due to the fragmentation of their market. I also would have to question since Apple has so many more apps avaiable doesn't it make sense the number of crashes is going to go up? The article was at lease fair in pointing out that iOS5 did just launch during the study whereas Android 4.0 had not hit the market yes. In any case, I would say the finger is more likely to be pointed at developers not he OS platform they are developing on. FWIW, I have never experiences a single hard lock up need to hard-reset any of my iPhones ever. The only time I ever get an app that will crash is with Flashlight and it's rare. The cause is it's the very last app I use every night as I make my way to bed and there are likely 3,432 other apps I have paused in the taskbar sucking up memory. If I close just a couple, it works without issue. Note to self, close your apps.

I may have to contact that seller. There's not the same level as my studio series, they look like reference series, but even so, those are nice towers. LOL at him not knowing it. I might be able to steal them and put them in our sitting room upstairs. :gabe:

I get a year older that day :dumb: -
I might have to replay that while having sex. My neighbors would hate me in the morning with that car.

I have to disagree with this. I have 3 Onkyo units in my house and they are all driven hard and still doing well. The one in my garage gets beat on the most and it's still one of my favorites even though it's the oldest. IMO has the best set of listening modes even over my current Onkyo SR-805 in our great room. IMO worth drive to check out the Paradigm line up at Genesis Audio. You might not be within budget, but you'll get the idea of what you can do with wall speakers. We have Paradigm connected to both our systems upstairs in the great room (towers) and in the theater room (wall mount) in our lower level. Both are 25 x 28 in size and let's just say volume and filling the house, not room, isn't a problem. Expand your budget, you won't regret it.

It is winter right? Mother nature is confused that's for sure. Here's proof. Several Year Old Fuji F20 Pocket Camera A hidden little gem I picked up new several years back for about $120 http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Feb1.jpg http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Feb2.jpg

Found this on my car in my work parking lot
TTQ B4U replied to SilverAudiMike's topic in Passing Lane
I know Ben and others bust my chops about copyrights but be careful. Ford is well known for going after using their stock photography for businesses purposes. Not sure about others, but I know Ford sniffs for their images and usage. It's been posted about on several photography forums. I say replace it with a nice shot of Jones' outside your building where you can capture the IPS Lettering or signage. I can help with that if you need anything. -

Given the purpose of the use, just make sure you get a property release for any images of client vehicles you are using. -

INB4JONES notes that his white whale pic wasn't featured on that. Looks good man! -
The body and one lens is just the money down and your first of many payments. Your wide angle was your second payment. The flash can be considered your third. Only 57 more to go.

Thanks the link I was going to post when I got back to my PC. Thanks. However, do keep in mind I believe Nikon handles fill flash and high speed sync a bit differently. It's been 10+ years since my Nikon days but I know there are some aspects that differ. See my previous post.

let's see if it can take crash tests like the real thing.

Happy to help where I can, but flash photography is a deep subject. I'm not at my PC where I can get into depth on the basics but there are some significant differences between using Nikon and Canon gear. Trish will likely be able to chime in as well. Here's a good read to begin. It will help as you get insight from others that may not be aware of the differences. http://www.timothyarmes.com/blog/2011/01/canon-vs-nikon-flash-systems-revisited/ I'm glad you finally landed a flash. It's key and one of the tools you won't want to leave home without.

I remember my dad took an 1989 model with the Muncie transmission as a demo. Black/silver two-tone international series. It was a hot looking car in it's day but with a 125hp 2.8l V6 it couldn't get out of it's own way. At the same time he drove that I had my 83 black/silver Hurst Olds. That was a cool as car. I did love the 80's.

you're right....so let's see how many manual tranny regals Buick can sell My money is on they won't be able to give them away, thus why they will have to keep production down. GM has rarely had success selling manual sedans. I grew up working in my parents old dealership and remember them trying to give away Oldsmobile Cutlass International Series with a 5spd. Same with Olds Achieva SC's. They sold a few here and there but ended up dealer trading them away.

Very large equity/cash dump to avoid gains tax and a small note. Money was so cheap it doesn't make sense to pull it out of the market (even this market) to pay it off. Interest savings in our tax bracket and the deductions we are taking bring the net cost of borrowing down even more. I'd have to see your paperwork to see how specific the bank was in your deal. My wife and her friend (the other attorney) negotiated the contract with his lender. It's weak sauce and really just a formality anyway. I wouldn't ever sign an addendum that is strictly to prevent the previous owner from benefiting. I bought the house, his bank got their net minimum, his bank is paid by us and our lender....at that point they can fuck off. It's easily negotiable. Believe me, if you qualify and want the house, they will back down/lighten up on the wording. Our deal sounds complicated, but to hash through the details and lay it out our LLC Company bought the property, in turn rents it to us and then we in turn sublet it. Right on the line of deal his bank agreed to but not across it. It helps when you know the other attorney Bottom line is they just want paid and our lender made them whole. Our payments to our lender are auto deducted from an account which secured us a slightly better rate. It will be cold day in hell before anyone finds the paper trail let alone does anything about it. It's common for the banks themselves to rent back to the owner.

a few times on long drives if I encounter shit heads like that I make it a point to blast past them, move in front and then just coast with my foot off the gas until we slow way down and they finally get the fucking hint. One time I got down to 40mph before they finally moved over. Then just hammer it and flip them off. I'd love for it to happen on my way home tonight. :gabe:

low miles on a 2011 5.0 or a C6 Vette or a 2010+ CTS-V are rides I put on my list of realistic rides that won't break the bank and are way better values vs any of the ones on this list new.

I know. My wife and I bought our Virginia Beach house on a short sale through an attorney she knows. Bank had a choice, get no money from their current client who was filing bankruptcy but losing the house, take it back and sell it on the market and incur all related expenses or sell it to us who had cash upfront in hand from a sale we made on other property late last year. We needed to make a move or pay uncle Sam tax on our profits of said sale and the bank wanted out fast. We struck a deal and everyone won. The kicker is we ended up renting it back to the original owner and under his bankruptcy and have court ordered budget which includes our rental amount built into it for the next 4yrs on our 10yr note :gabe: That's win.:fuckyeah: I love my wife.

I talked with my wife about this whole thing and she sees both sides. I understand better now the couple in Arizona in the article but still don't know their motivation or intent. To your point, Tamie said many times the mortgage companies she deals with have either don't know situation where they are dumb fucks or they don't care. Some will push back but as you noted, usually only to good paying people. She feels since the market took a shit that many workers are just biding time and taking the easy route. She's been a part of a few short-sales but overall her line of work is more people going belly up...that's just her turf though. What she swayed me on is the whole being angry at people who do it purposely. Her view, much to my previous posts, caused this mess and knew damn well loaning Joe Broke Dick 125% of the homes Inflated value that they were a part of appraising is all on them. So in essence, what the couple in AZ did is just payback for being mislead and manipulated. She feels no pity for the lenders. I now feel a little less spite against such practices....still bothers me. Perhaps because first hand we're not in that spot. Personally, I'd burn the fucking house down. Yes, I would. It makes for an interesting conversation as normally we don't talk about this stuff.

99% of the time when I see this either in my direction of travel or oncoming, it's State Trooper. Likely because they tend to clock oncoming traffic, hence why I stick to center lanes. Sheriffs however tend to fly. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a sheriff cruising down the left lane 75-80mph+ I'm usually one of those fools that keeps a distance but keeps up :gabe: Occasionally I'll see a CPD car trolling the left but not often. Mainly OSP.

^^ this. They need to make people write out the keep right rule in ink when they renew their drivers license just so they grasp the importance of moving the hell over. I tend to drive in the center or right lanes except when I only have two lanes, as the right lane drivers usually only go 65mph, then I keep left. I usually give more than a few seconds for someone to look up in their mirrors to see that I'm behind them. If they don't move, I blast around them on the right. 50% get the hint and move over. Others, like my ride down 315/71 today force a line of traffic to go around them Dumb asses.

Moving on from a Camaro is sign that you're maturing. Congrats, now that your balls have dropped you can remove the mullet from your head :lolguy: In all honesty, I don't wish I kept my first car as it was worn out. I wish I had one just like in collectable condition though.
